Throughout the return journey, the young woman didn’t care to converse with the driver or even turn to look at him.

Pongket also did not speak a word after that. He just looked at her back as she walked into the house, while in his mind, questions raced around without stopping. Why didn’t she use a photo of the children as her home screen? A mother had to love and be proud of her children. Or did she love them less than his best friend?

The young man tried to control and silence the feelings of anger and possessiveness thundering around inside of him. He felt bad each time the young woman gave importance to someone else.
