Chapter 20 Part II

“Are you going to eat or not? Or do I have to walk over there and carry you over?” the other person continued to reprimand.

Sakunthara had no choice but to walk over and sit across from the young man. She looked at the plate of fried rice in front of her and thought to herself quietly that this plate was not the work of Primpao, the nurse whom he had hired to take care of the two children, but was more likely Michelle’s doing. She silently spooned the fried rice on the plate into her mouth without looking up at the young man. At the same time, the other person stared at her as though anticipating something.

The young woman grimaced at the strange taste of the fried rice. However, if this was the cooking of a foreigner like Michelle, it could be said that this plate of fried rice had been made rather well.

“Why are you making that face? Doesn’t it taste good?” The voice of the person sitting across from her put forth the question.
