Chapter 21 Part I

The young man stood there, watching the woman sleep, she curled up under a thick blanket in the corner of the bed. He was thinking—carry this stubborn, arrogant person back to the room or do what with her?

When he asked himself why he was irritated that the young woman had not obeyed his orders, the young man answered himself that…it was because he was scared she would run a fever in the middle of the night. He would take care of her. He was not thinking impure thoughts of any kind.

However, he did not think the young woman would see it that way. It was clear that throughout the time she had been here, she had made herself distant and done everything she could to avoid confronting him and conversing with him, just as before. But he was not so detestable or despicable that one would want to keep their distance to this extent.
