Chapter 33 Part I

The young man carried the baby into the house, following quietly. He placed that ring on the table. He squatted down and picked up Kita, who was sitting on the mattress next to their mother. He took the children into the bathroom for another bath. They had been playing and having fun outdoors and had sweated profusely. Seeing Sakunthara had gone quiet, he didn’t say anything else to her. Her actions a moment before answering every question for him without him having to ask again. The only thing remaining for him was time that could be spent to the fullest with the children.

The young woman started to think over what she had done to him a moment before. She felt upset with herself for humiliating him in front of both of their subordinates. It was not right, but he did not utter one word of reprimand to her.
