The next day, as the man instructed I came back. "You're in dorm 221" he said, "You'll have a roommate so get along with him". I wanted to be alone but there was nothing I could do about it. The room was in the second floor and seeing as the halls were empty, they were probably sleeping. I slowly opened the door and tried to be as quiet as possible to no avail. The door creaked loudly and I heard a groan. I turned back and I saw a man who was a bit shorter than me and a slight bit chubby with his hair in a bun. "Why're ya making so much noise" He asked as he sat back up.
"My bad" I said looking around the room. It was small and had a bunk bed and 1 small closet.
"Are you strong?" he asked grinning. I nodded back as I opened the closet to put my clothes in. He chuckled and said, "I'm warning ya, this place is" he pauses trying to find the words, "It'll give you a hard time, it's not for the weak". I nodded paying no mind to what he said. If someone as unathletic as him could do it then I could. Suddenly a loud bell rang and he got up. "Well, time to train" he said.
"What type of training?" I asked.
"Well there's multiple parts of the building, some for swords, some for spears, some for bows and so on, you can also just do muscle training if ya want" he responded as he got dressed into a long white robe with drawings of swords on each pec.
"Where do you get those?" I asked.
"Office" he responded leaving the room. I followed him as I wanted to train myself in using a sword. When I fought during the entrance, I was outclassed, his slashed were too fast to see. In a real fight, I'd be dead. "What's yer name?" he asked.
"Lorte" I responded. I couldn't risk being found out so I lied to him as well. After walking through a long hallway we arrived. There were several wooden swords and dummies to test on. In the far side of the room was a ring for sparring presumably. The room, despite being quite large was packed. I took a sword and began to swing at the dummies however I was soon stopped. "Sloppy technique" commented a middle aged man with a strangely long nose, "I'll teach you how to swing a sword properly"
