Maybe I'm dying

Muscles tense, I threw the dagger out towards his head. Time seem to slow as I watches his eyes widen and then he was hit, straight in the browridge. The dagger dug into his head as he became stiff. I looked at him, confused at wether he was alive or not but just as I began to walk towards him, he grit his teeth and lunged towards me like a mad man. He lodged his sword into me and weaponless, I was helpless. I was stabbed in my liver but before he could continue, his body fell limp. I kept the sword in to stop the blood but without quick treatment I was sure to die. I sat beside his body and checked his trousers. They were soiled and he was surely dead. I took his helmet and looked for his horse but it seemed to have ran away during our fight. The fire had also spread far across so I began hurriedly marching away. The flames raged and building fell and I could hear people screaming in the far. As I was nearly out in the clear, I began feeling light headed. I'd lost too much blood from my chest and the last attack.

Out in the distance came soldiers with buckets in hand. I limped off, hoping not to be seen as that would mean certain death. I slipped behind a house and sat for a moment. I forgot to ask Adae where to meet after the battle so now I had no idea where she was. We had to get the treasure and get out of Ubok quick because as soon as the Warden was reported dead, a war would surely break and I'd be the man wanted most. Once I'd gathered myself a bit I stood and began walking again, away from the shouts of the Ubok soldiers. I broke out in to an open area where many residents of the fire were running, distressed. A lot of them wept but I watched a boy in specific. He had brown, curly hair and a slightly darker complexion, similar to the people of the kingdom of Sadukin, similar to the people of the village we'd raided. The boy stared deep into the flame and had an axe despite being relatively small, even for the people of his country. Eventually I stopped looking at him and went back. I slipped through an alley. The alley however, in contrast to the others I'd seen seemed better. The floor was clean, almost reflective and the building which surrounded it had beautiful architecture. My vision began to blur, and my heart began to beat faster than it'd ever beaten. It feels like flying strangely but maybe, I'm dying.
