The king and his helper then muttered to themselves before he said, "We shall be back in due time" and they both went in presumably to discuss. The outcome of their discussion would not matter however. In the end of this ploy I'd end up as the most popular member of the revolution and with no one in particular wanting to be king, I'd take the crown. The wait was painstakingly long and just beyond the castle's walls I could hear the people gathering. The walls around me had been slightly lowered so they all could see me but we also had archers pointing towards the near towers. I quickly turned back and looked into the crowd. They all had varying reactions, some worried, most straight faced and uncaring. I could barely make out their words but most seemed to be asking of what happened. I stayed quiet however, I hadn't rehearsed speaking to the crowd and had almost no experience talking to the common people outside of the revolutionaries and bar attendees. The risk of damaging my reputation was far too great if I messed up a second speech.
2 hours eventually crawled by and I was getting tired of standing and thirsty. I'd made sure not to eat and drink water before so I wouldn't need to relieve myself. By now most of the crowd knew of what was happening and it had also grown bigger. I still looked forwards however, awaiting the Kings decision. The fake hostages too were acting well. They slowly changed the persona from that of a shaken hostages to someone who had accepted their fate and that was exceptional acting. Then out of the side of the window I saw 2 people peep out, presumably the Prince and Princess. I'd forgotten them but they would most likely be taken care of either by public excecution if the king chose Gastillo or be overthrown if the king chose the people. In the second outcome they most likely wouldn't be excecuted so I began to plan. The Prince was a chid and the princess was younger then me by a bit less. Depending on if they had plans to seek revenge or not, I'd either keep them monitored inside the castle but If they hated me I'd kill them.
3 more hours passed by, making it the fifth and finally the king had come out, a triumphant expression on his face. I was almost sure of his answer, but only almost
