Today was a good day

"After a long hard thought discussion, your majesty has concluded that we will not sucumb to your threats and Gastillo will not be excecuted" yelled the messager. It turned out my guess was right. The walls around me were raised again since now the hostages meant nothing and I turned back to face the crowd.

"Do you all hear that, the king chose that filthy shit Gastillo over 2 innocent citizens" I paused to hear their chants, "Imagine that was you, he has no regard for his kingdom, he is not fit to be a ruler!". I raised my arms, rounding up the crowd more. "Those two hostages were false, and now you all see that piece of shit for what he really is and will you stand for this?". The crowd paused for a bit before resuming into a loud fury. Loud banging could be heard in the castle gate and the guards from the other tower began barracading it. Quickly, we set up a plank to the castle's walls. I ran across because if they caught me, my plan would be over. I quickly threw down a ladder and the others nailed it down. I went down, disappearing into the crowd.

The revolution was a success and now we could increase our revolution's numbers until we were strong enough to face the army. Then I'd kill the king and assume my throne. The crowd was thick and rampant and I was being pushed and shoved but in about 15 minutes I made it out. I ran back to the rebel house triumphantly. "You did so well" said Quarkia as I entered.

"Thank you, it was all due to the help of the revolutionaries" I said trying to seem humble. Then I'd realised Adae was in the door. I hadn't made much conversation with her since returning to Sadukin. "Congratulations, you're the closest so far to becoming the Legendary Man" she said.

"The legendary man?" Asked Quarkia confused.

"Yes, I plan to become the second legendary man and Adae is his direct descendant" I responded. She looked at me for a second before smiling,

"Well either way, it doesn't interfere right now does it?". I shook my head and that was done for the moment. Most of the revolutionaries had made it back to the base but some were caught. It was saddening that they couldn't see the fruits of their labour but there was nothing I could do right now. The high ranking members had escaped first so they were most likely low ranked meaning they had a lesser understanding of our next steps. Today was a good day
