She could never escape me

The man led me deeper into the slave house until we reached an area filled with children, some younger and some older. "These are mostly children of war but they're fresh from another slave house so I don't know much about them" he said. I decided to check each and everyone and pick the one who I'd thought looked the biggest and most miserable, I'd take both for good measure. In the left chamber, in the very corner sat a boy who was almost double my size despite looking youthful himself. "How old are you?" I asked

"He's not from anywhere near here, probably a small backwater nation" said the man in his stead. I nodded and moved on. I forgot to account for the language barrier but if I couldn't find one who I could speak with I'd just hire a language tutor. In the chamber across were several prospects but like the boy before they all looked foreign. I moved on again to the third chamber. There finally I saw someone who resembled me. However she was a small girl. She wouldn't be able to defend me at all and so I moved on to the fourth. Yet again there was no one worth taking. By now I'd lost hope and went back for the first boy I'd seen. "Can you run a background check on him, I'll be back by tomorrow" I said.

"Alright, you buying one though?" He asked.

"Not right now, I need to find a language tutor so I'll buy only him later". I made sure to put emphasis on him so that they'd start treating him better and hopefully when I'd come back he'd be stronger than even now.

"Alright but making a reservation's gonna raise the price up"

"That's alright". I'd never run out of money after all. He led me back out onto the street and I began a short journey. I eventually stumbled upon an area which didn't uphold the cities standard of architecture. The houses whilst being comparable to the ones of the capital, still stood out as ugly in this city.

I reached in deeper to the the area and there I saw something I'd never expected. The hunchback stood, gazing out at his window up at the jungle ceiling. I turned my back to him as so he wouldn't notice me and began tracing my way back to the Inn. There was always a chance the showgirl would try run from me and in chance of that she'd most likely run off to her ugly lover but she could never escape me
