Dawn came and I finally unwrapped the cloth which held the old King's head. I tied his hair and grabbed it before peeking out into the city. It was swarming with people, most likely having all heard news of the Kings death due to the rebels. I raised the man's head up high and yelled, "He is no more, I am your new king and will bring to you a new age!". Andador fitted me a crown and the crowd erupted. I couldn't read them all, some were happy and some were critical but I paid no mind. The old ones advisors had left him so there wasn't any major force except the rebels. I threw the old one's head out and yielded back into the castle. "Add some more reinforcements to the towers" I demanded. It didn't sound kingly however but I'd fix that later. Most of the forces left but a few stayed to protect me.
I began wandering the castle halls. It was bigger than the rebel headquarters and the architecture was far more advanced. Then I remembered about my to be wives. The drunk couldn't be trusted but the blonde could. "There's an Inn not to far from here, go fetch a blonde with green eyes" I ordered, "Also do not lay your hands upon her". The man left and turned to the others saying, "Patrol the castle, I'll organise official posts for you all by the end of this week". I pulled Andador into the closest room with me and sat across him.
"I know you said you want to watch my steps but what is your goal?" I asked.
"I have no goal but to watch, that's all I can tell you". I nodded, there was no point in questioning him as long as he benefited me.
"Then become my advisor, the people won't trust me if I alone have all the authority"
"Sure, I'll try to pin point the location of the army general and soon we'll have him killed and take control of the already divided army"
"I thank you deeply" I said standing, "I'm going to rest". I began wandering again and eventually found a bedroom but to my surprise there were people inside it. The old one's children and a pair of maids, cowering away in a corner. I readied my gun but then a thought came into my mind. The old princess was loved by the people, having her by my side would increase support for me. I pointed it at the maids and told them, "Get onto the bed and line up". I placed 2 pillows onto the wall and covered their bodies before shooting the blanket twice to make sure they were dead. The children began tearing but this likely wasn't the first time they'd seen a corpse. "I won't kill you two but I have some conditions for your survival". I'd probably keep the youngest so she wouldn't kill herself but the only one that mattered for my plans was the Princess. "We're going to have a long discussion, sit on the floor" I said to them, trying to cement myself as an authorative figure despite the fact we weren't far in age. The gun is my authority
