ARES'S POV
The interview was over, but I was far from finished. Clearing Leilani’s name to the public was only the first step. The next was talking to her father. He needed to hear from me man to man that he was wrong and owed his daughter an apology.
It was one thing to hang the business over her to get her head straight and push her to do more, but it was another to use it as a weapon. Giving Williams Corp to Timothy is his decision, but it’d be a stupid one and he needed to know that.
I left the interview, going straight to my black Range Rover and starting the engine. I was a man on a mission, and I wouldn’t stop until Leilani received the love and respect she deserved.
The drive to the Williams estate felt shorter than its actual distance. It had something to do with my brain on a swivel thinking of how this conversation could go. I could either make things better or make things worse for Leilani.
