Chapter 4 The Bad Things would Appear If You Thought about It for So Many Times

The sunshine in the early morning was very warm, which was rare in this early winter.

But there were no windows in Janette's room, so she couldn't see the sunshine outside, which was just like her dark situation at this time.

She sat in the narrow room, staring at the wall. For a long time, she was stunned.

In the conversation with Shane last night, there was so much information that she couldn't understand a lot of things.

His brother had died; his father had been sent to prison. And she was deeply involved. She finally found a gold medal lawyer, who was Shane's person. Everything was like a desperate picture.

These two days were very quiet. Janette couldn’t help but feel that Ann was planning something when she didn’t make troubles!

However, before Janette thought about something, there was something coming!

The bad things would appear if you thought about it for so many times!

Ann, with the glass in her hand, suddenly fainted and fell to the ground. The glass fell to the ground and broke. She was stabbed by the broken glasses, bleeding in many wounds.

Shane was in panic when he received the call and drove back directly.

By the time of Shane entering the room, the family doctor had taken temporary care of the wound, waiting for an ambulance. He rushed to Ann, held her hands and said, “Dear, are you OK? How do you get injured?”

"I'm fine, but maybe I'll trouble her again. Shane, I..." Ann said with tears in her eyes, "I'm sorry for her."

It was OK if she didn't say that. When she said that, Shane was reminded.

When they were talking, the ambulance came. After taking Ann into the ambulance, Shane walked to the maid’s room, pulling Janette out and pushing her into his car violently.

"What are you doing? Shane, let me go!” Janette asked when she was forced to lock into the co pilot by Shane.

"Ann is hurt!"The simple words were his explanation.

But suddenly, Janette didn’t move, which made Shane feel weird. He turned his head and looked at her. He found that Janette turned her head to look out of the window quietly with empty eyes.

At that moment, he felt hurt in his heart!

Because Ann's state of emergency, a mobile bed was pushed out at the door of the hospital.

Ann was pushed in the hospital and soon she was inserted into the transfusion track.

On one side, Shane stood beside Janette. He was anxious, distressed and spoiled. Janette felt that there were countless slaps slapping on her face without hesitation. The pain almost makes her numb! However, it was not on the skin but in the heart.

When the door opened, a gentle-ooking doctor came in. Janette once met him. He whispered in Shane's ear, "Ann is pregnant, but she can't bear the baby. But if you don't want this baby, Ann will never be a mother again. "

"Pregnant!" The word darted into Janette's ear like a long nail piercing into her brain.

"No matter what the cost, I want both the adult and baby live." Shane said.

Hearing this, the doctor looked at Janette beside him and said, "There's a way, that's ‘one life for another’!"

"Fine!" For Ann and her baby, Shane agreed quickly and decisively.

"But Mrs. Graham..." The doctor seemed to have something to say.

"It's OK. As long as you can save Ann, I don’t care if she stays alive." Shane said firmly.

He didn’t care!

Janette's heart was completely frozen.

After the blood transfusion, Ann was pushed out of the room.

Janette was resettled. In the independent ward, there was no one else except herself. On this day, she hadn’t even eat anything. She turned her head away and looked out of the window. Her vision was blurred. She even had the idea of suicide.

But she didn’t dare to suicide now. If she died, what would father do?

The door of the ward was opened.

It was the doctor who had just appeared.

Janette looked at him, then turned away and continued to look out of the window.

The young doctor came to her with a box in his hand.

"Are you hungry? Eat something. "

"No!" Janette refused him subconsciously.

"I'm your attending doctor, Julian Yale." As he said, he put down his things and continued, "I think maybe I’m the only one who can help you!"

Janette sneered. "No one can help me!"

"Then tell me what you want!" It seemed that Julian didn’t to care about Janette, who had no good intentions to him. "What if I can?"

"I want to survive." Janette said lightly but firmly. She stared at Julian and asked sarcastically, "Can you let me survive?"

"It's OK to let you live, but you are killing yourself." Julian pointed to the food box with a smile and said, "For example, You are straving yourself now!"

Janette suddenly sat up when she heard his words! Looking at Julian with a puzzled face, she found what he said was reasonable rather than joking.

"Can you really help me?" But then she seemed to think something was wrong, so she continued to ask him, "Who are you? Why are you helping me? "
