FURIOUS

Abhi: (Nick is holding Tia...

So now I could easily grab Ishana's hand.

She was walking away, but I managed to reach her.

As I grabbed her hand—

I suddenly bumped into something... and lost my balance.

I quickly put one hand behind her head to protect her and used the other to balance us—

But we both fell to the floor.

I landed on her.

She shut her eyes so tightly.

A few moments later, she opened them...)

"Are you okay?!"

Ishana: (I don't know why, but when I saw him, something inside me hurt.

I turned around and started walking away.

My friends were trying to stop him, but he kept coming.

Suddenly, he grabbed my hand—

I turned around—

And before I knew it, we both fell.

I closed my eyes tightly.

And then I heard...)

"Are you okay?!"

(I opened my eyes.

He was staring right into mine.)

Abhi: "Are you okay, Ishana?"

Ishana: "Hmm... yeah, I'm fine.

Get off of me."

Abhi: "Oh! Right..."

(I quickly got up and reached out to help her up.)

Ishana: (He offered his hand, but I ignored it.

I got up on my own and turned to walk away.

But as I took a step...)

"Aah... ahh..."

Abhi: "Are you okay?

Did you get hurt somewhere?"

Ishana: "My leg... I think it's sprained."

Abhi: "Wait, let me help you—"

(I stepped closer and tried to lift her in my arms, but she pushed me away.)

Ishana: "No, I'm fine. I don't need your help.

I can still walk."

(I turned and started walking again.

It hurt—a lot.

But I wasn't going to ask him for help.)

Abhi: (I didn't know why, but I suddenly got furious.

She was hurt, but still refused to let me help.)

"Enough!"

(I grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward me.

Then I picked her up in my arms.

She struggled, trying to break free—

But I held her tightly.)

"Stop it. Right now.

The party ends here.

I'll see you guys another time.

I've got to go. Bye."

Nick: "Hmm, okay.

Let us know if you need any help."

Abhi: "No thanks. I can handle my matters myself."

(I started walking toward the exit door.)

Ishana: (He grabbed my wrist so tightly and pulled me hard—

I couldn't balance myself and crashed into his chest.

He picked me up in his arms.

He looked furious—

Scary, even.

I had never seen him like this before.

I tried to struggle, but he held me tighter.

Then he shouted.

I didn't recognize this version of him.

He said goodbye to his friends, and now we're heading out.)

"Just let me go!

I can walk!"

Abhi: (I didn't want to yell at her.

So I stayed quiet.

I was too furious, and I didn't want to say something I'd regret.)

(We reached the parking lot.

I opened the car door and gently placed her on the seat.

I fastened her seatbelt.)

Ishana: "There's no need.

I can take a cab home.

Just move!"

Abhi: "You better not move an inch from here!"

(I shut the car door, went to the driver's side, sat down, and started the car.)

(I decided I should take her to the hospital for a checkup.

Neither of us spoke during the drive.)

Abhi: (When we reached the hospital, I looked at her—

She had fallen asleep!

Seriously?!

She actually fell asleep at a time like this?)

(I smiled. She's really something.)

(I got out, opened her door, unbuckled her seatbelt, and lifted her in my arms.

I took her into my cabin.)

(She was still sleeping soundly.

How can someone sleep like this?)

(I got the first aid kit.

Gently placed her leg on my lap to examine it.)

(No bone damage. Just a sprain.

Should be okay after some anti-inflammatory spray and a compression bandage.)

(I treated the sprain.

But... I think she might have hurt her back too.

I only protected her head during the fall.)

Abhi (thinking):

Should I check her back too?

Would that be right?
