As soon as the orcs approach, I turn and run away into the cover of the trees, not too far away. I speed up directly to a bigger tree, using stealth to at least fool the senses of the orcs for a few seconds.
The enraged orcs began their ascent as soon as they sensed me, charging directly at the tree. Instead of running, I charged directly towards the orc as my eyes met the eyes of the frenzied monster.
"How do I look, you pig?!"
Just dodging their slow yet massive axe heading towards me, I strike his right arm holding the axe with full force.
It tore through his arm as it let out an agonizing growl.
All the other orcs came to the rescue of their comrade with no plans whatsoever. Can orcs even think?
Not likely seeing their moves and fighting skill.
A showdown between four orcs and a demon
They lunged forward with axes and claymores, ready to chop me in half with their terrifying attack.
When it strikes, it hits nothing but empty air.
As one of the orcs attacks, I wait for the perfect timing and then withdraw backwards. Once the orc is overcommitted in his attack, I lunge forward to deal the finishing blow on his head.

[Orc warrior killed]
One down, three to go.
None of the orcs were scared by my display of strength and continued to attack. In their simple minds, this is still a three-on-one situation, and the enemy is a single puny monster.
They charged up together, each on a separate side of the tree, which I was on.
I instantly moved away so I wouldn't get surrounded. I cannot afford to be neglectful in a battle. One wrong move is all it takes for me to meet their axe.
I moved sideways and jumped up a tree as I landed on a branch, but the branch wasn't thick enough to carry my weight and broke instantly.
As I fell, the orc nearest me charged towards me with the big sword in hand.
Since I was falling, I could not manoeuvre myself at all, and soon I will fall to meet the claymore directly.
"Shit."
Twisting my body I use any momentum available as I kicked the tree with all my strength which sent me flying towards the incoming Orc.
Gah!
I landed on the other side of the orc as its head exploded and it fell lifelessly on the floor.
But it was not without a cost.
A long wound has appeared on my chest. I failed to dodge the attack directly. Thankfully, it wasn't that serious. Shaking off the impact of the short flight, I quickly climbed up a tree close to me.
Unable to digest what happened, the orcs stopped their attack, maybe realizing the strength of the enemy they were facing.
Hmph. Do you now realize my strength? You musclehead pigs!
Don't even think of escaping! Not one of you is leaving this forest alive! After all, I need the experience you guys give me!
The remaining Orcs are definitely feeling less certain of themselves now, and from the way they move, I can tell they want to come at me together again. Moving cautiously, the remaining foes slowly crept up on me from two sides. For my part, I watched them carefully, waiting for an opening in which I could deliver an attack.
They have to come close enough for me to jump toward them from the tree I am on. or else I will fall before reaching them.
I made up a plan on the go.
Run!
"Grh??"
The sight of my rapid escape bewildered them for a moment before they are overcome with the desire to hunt and began running after me with all their strength.
Hehe, these fools.
While running, I waited for the right moment and used stealth, making the orc who was chasing me surprised for a moment.
It was all that I needed.
A moment!
The moment they lost track of me for a few moments, I charged directly towards one of them. The startled orc reacted swiftly, snapping forward with his axe, but my momentum isn't one to be underestimated.
I dive forward as I crash into the orc, making it lose its balance. Without waiting, I delivered the finishing blow to its head.
"Kukgh"
My body was aching from pain after crashing head-on with the Orc's body. I won't do that again.
The final Orc could only stand and watch as I killed another one of his comrades in a few seconds.
In a similar manner, I got rid of the last orc. It did not take me more than a minute to end the orc's life.
[Orc warrior killed]
[You have levelled up]
[Gained 1 Stat point]
Whew. A level up. About time.
I did it,
Hurray!
I have triumphed over the foe that left me scared out of my life the day I came onto this world. Four versus one haha haha.
Checking my HP, I've been reduced to 120, which surprised me since the only real damage I took was the one on my chest. But I am not too worried, I know how fast my body regenerates. I'll be back to full capacity in a few hours or close to it.
I also found out that I don't have to consume the monster to activate gluttony.
I dragged all four bodies to one place as I activated gluttony.
The system did not inform me of any change in stat which means that they were weaker than the first orc I met. Because that one had greater strength than me. I was hoping to get the strength, but it seems I have to hunt more.
A heavy wind blew, causing the leaves to fall like rain everywhere. I stood above four corpses as strange energy seeped out of the corpses and enveloped me.
If anyone saw this, they would be scared to death, it felt as if I was death consuming the corpses.
[Aura increased]
[995 more uncommon Aura to rank up]
Hmm?
995? What? That can't be it. Do I need to kill 995 more orcs? Not really Orcs, but an uncommon class monster?
Are kidding me REEEEEEEE!???
System, if I kill a higher-class monster, will it count?
[No]
[The host can only achieve Demonic aura after refining with the aura of every class of beings]
So I will need to kill a thousand rare monsters in the future too?
Are there even that many monsters in the whole dungeon?
[Yes, a thousand Rare monsters will constitute 0.3 % of the whole Rare class monster Population]
What the hell?
How was it that it took me so long to find uncommon monsters when there are so many of them?
[The dungeon has 7 layers]
[Host is currently on the 2nd layer of the dungeon]
[Rare monsters cannot grow fully in the second layer. Therefore, they move to a higher layer. Only Epic and higher class monsters can roam freely on any layer of the Dungeon]
Wow, you are being very informative today. Did my fight amaze you, huh?
Great right? Those Four orcs couldn't do anything with their giant bodies.
By the way, I am only 1 level away from reaching my level cap, which means soon enough I'll get to evolve and continue strengthening myself. I cannot wait for it to come.

I climbed back up into a tree and hid amongst the leaves while I thought of my next move. Making things more difficult was the wound on my chest. I think I'll have to wait a few hours for it to heal. Or I could risk my life, which I won't do at all.
One thing I know is that there might be a boss or a leader among these Orcs. Every dungeon has a boss, don't they?
Which means I need to be fully prepared for a bloody fight.
Now that I looked at my status, I found out I have a bunch of stat points left unused. I was thinking of leaving it because, from my experience against the Orcs, I already knew I had enough power in my attacks to even take down rare or higher-class monsters, and the one thing I am lacking is my movement ability and speed.
If I had been faster, I would have been able to avoid the attack on my chest. So I decided to add all my points to the agility stat.
making my speed reach 42, which looks pretty high to me.
I still have the skill upgrade token but I decided it was best to leave it for future use once I have better skills. since my current skills are more than enough to kill any uncommon class monster.
I will be hunting for an uncommon class monster for a while too to upgrade my aura.
I don't think I'll be able to kill the needed amount before I evolved but it will make my hunting much faster after evolving.
While I wait, I practice using the aura a few times to see how it works, leaving me gasping with a headache. I feel like it's telling me I don't have the brains or willpower to use aura yet.
I decided to stop for the time being. Since I am fairly well hidden up here, I may take a nap, and once I wake up, my wound will hopefully be healed.
'snore'
I awaken several hours later with the wound gone, fresh and active, ready for round two of pig hunting.
I carefully came out of the forest to the barren land close to the hut-like structure.
For now, though I will play the waiting game, there doesn't seem to be much action, and certainly, no response that would suggest the members of this group of orcs are upset about their four missing orcs. I would guess it isn't unusual for a small group of orcs to disappear, since the outside world has many terrible monsters.
Well, I could wait for a few more hours and watch out if any small number of them appear near me.
Soon enough, I see 3 orcs coming out of the colony for a drink of this tasty stream water.
Haha, thirsty for some sweet water? Huh. I hope you enjoy your drink, for it will be your last!
While I wait for them to drink their fill, I decided to take a look to see if any of them are worth hunting. Perhaps one of them has a higher stat than mine. I could already tell they were different from the ones I have encountered till now, they have all sorts of markings covering their bodies.

Wow, it really is a different type.
Looking at those stats, I am sure Gluttony will choose attack over HP. Now I have even more reason to kill them and take those fine-looking stats!
