The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

There was another part of her that suspected the involvement from someone else in the home that she had not met.

She had a gut feeling that the woman was not behind it after meeting with her in person.

It had been further proven that her gut feeling had been correct since the woman was being so cooperative.

It was not like Ash had identified herself as an investigator or private detective of any kind but it would make sense for anyone to deny such a request from a stranger or an investigator since it was their right.

There were cases where guilty parties denied such requests when there was no warrant involved giving them time to destroy any evidence but there were cases where they were very cooperative too since they believed that nothing could be found to incriminate them.
