The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

Ash had already involved herself enough that she visited the home of the woman but she did not have it in her to keep doing much more.

It was up to the owner to decide whether they would look deeper and bring what had happened into the spotlight.

There was times when Ash could take action personally and be involved with some events more actively but there were limits to how much she could do that.

There was a time frame on how long she could maintain her disguise which was a major disadvantage to be had.

It did not help that she was on the run and was using a fake identity in her present state.

Any chance of her own fake identity or one she casually gave out being known to others meant that there was a chance of her name or names being revealed to be false causing suspicion to fall upon her.

Whatever peace and stability she had been able to hold onto could potentially be ruined by getting too involved and being more well known or exposed.
