The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Among those many encounters, there were usually casualties who became victims of such a fate and would not be so lucky to be able to survive or get away without suffering something horrific.

The future that would come was not something to be taken lightly and there would be a great number of casualties.

Not even Sloane would be fully ready to stop everything that would take place all over the country so Ash thought about what she could do and if it was even worth her taking action.

She may not have seen herself as a hero after stepping onto her current path but she did not wish for the innocent and weak to become casualties and victims that would be caught up in the battle among the strong.

It would be a battle between the strong and the emerging talents where a winner would be decided.

Even she would be among the weak and would struggle to survive if she did not increase her power further before then.
