The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

The moment that anyone was left without Life Energy was when they lost a lot of their main combat potential that could be used against Spirits.

Careful management over the usage of abilities and spells was crucial in battles especially when working alone since there was nobody else there to provide extra support using their reserves of Life Energy.

If there were more enemies in an area and anyone was alone in such a condition then they would have no choice but to retreat if they wanted to preserve their lives especially if they had nothing else to rely on that could aid them in such a situation.

Ash kept moving around the room as she kept making changes in the direction she moved.

Her hands kept moving a little clumsily as she kept muttering to herself trying to maintain the rhythm properly without making a mistake.
