The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

While some people could be hired to be used to protect the various things the organization wanted to be protected, there would be those who would be hired to target others.

It would not be so easy for such people to be able to avoid harming others when they were forced into various situations since accidents happened during combat and sometimes certain situations demanded more excessive force.

Other areas of work required dealing with far more illegal matters like cleaning up after others or taking on more targeted work depending on the skillset a person possessed and much more.

Some organizations picked up people like Ash at times to make use of them as their hunting dogs since they would be easier to control and would be easier to pay too.

Others worked in more discrete roles whether it was helping to plan out things or even cleaning up after the work of others.
