Imperial Workshop

Yu Sheng started right away, gathering some materials from inside the old torture room and walking to the closest city, Greveng.

Greveng was a remotely unpopulated city, but it still had a large amount of people and properties.

He walked around and managed to find the market, placing all of the materials he did not need up for sale.

The next day, they were all sold and Yu Sheng gained $3,000 BLD(Blackshine Dollars).

He bought some necessary basic materials and returned to the room, working for a few months and constantly selling and buying materials before he eventually completed his first objective, renovating the room into his workshop!

[ has been created without any blueprints, awarding 200,000 EXP.]

With this new EXP, Yu Sheng levelled up his Talents.

[Character Talents]

[Basic Machine Creation - Level 10]- Allows the user to create machines, given that the corresponding blueprint is either present or completely memorised.

[Basic Machine Enhancement - Level 5] - Allows the user to enhance machines, however, only extends to machines created by the user for now.

[Basic Blueprint Generation - Level 3] - Allows the user to generate an non-unique blueprint. Can only be used after all other blueprints have been made and can only give a blueprint that is at the same grade as user. Requires a base wisdom stat of 10 and a level of 1.

[Mana Pool - Level 30] - Creates a pool of mana inside Player's body.

[Mana Control - Level 5] - Allows user to mobilise, move and utilise mana created from Mana Pool.

[Mana Surge - Level 0] - Used with Mana Control, creates a burst of mana that is used for attack.

————-————-————-————-————-————-

Fuse all Mana-related Talents.

[Do you wish to fuse Mana Pool, Mana Control and Mana Surge into the new Talent: Basic Mana Application? This will cost 10,000 EXP.]

Yes.

[Basic Mana Application - Level 12] - Allows the user to possess mana, control mana and use mana for attack.

During Yu Sheng's time spent in the torture room, while he meditated, he was given insight as to every aspect of using the Interface.

This proved to him that the Interface was still inside him, but it was suppressed but after a few months, these insights stopped appearing. This made Yu Sheng believe that the Interface was now completely destroyed and he was completely fine with it.

When the Interface returned, he understood that it was not gone, but that he had thoroughly comprehended every aspect of using it, therefore, there was no need for the insights to occur anymore.

Right now, the torture room had been moulded into Yu Sheng's private workshop.

After he made a few machines, he would open it to the public and start selling things from vehicles to weapons.

I can infuse mana into my creations, greatly amplifying their effects. The first thing I will create will be a Mana Supercar, a new invention made without a blueprint, therefore, I will also gain substantial EXP from it. Yu Sheng thought. This is why I chose Mechanic, to create things. Now, my goals have shifted. I had no goal in the past, but now I have a clear one, that is to ascend to godhood!

During an insight, Yu Sheng learned of the eight grades of Transcendence, Basic, Experienced, Advanced, Expert, Genius, Master, Grandmaster and God.

The four ancient gods were actually Transcendents who achieved the eighth grade.

If I ever need to choose a church to join in the future, it would be the Primordial Church for sure. Yu Sheng thought to himself.

After a long day of work, he fell asleep in the bed he made for himself, it actually had a special type of sleep-inducing technology that could help the user fall asleep a lot easier and quicker.

It can increase sleep efficiency by 20%, but Yu Sheng had gained a blueprint from [Basic Blueprint Generation] that allowed it to utilise mana to make the user instantly fall asleep.

This is the advantage of being a Mana Mechanic, when the Players arrive in a few years, I shall take in a few apprentices and teach them methods and techniques of this new Class.

For now, I should prepare by stockpiling enough resources and funds to create that thing.

Yu Sheng was shocked after waking up, he had never fallen asleep instantly before.

He didn't think about it for too long thought, he instantly got started on the Mana Supercar.

Cars in this world didn't have conventional tires, instead they moved with jets in the back. The roads had no friction to make this idea work, and therefore travel was a lot faster.

Yu Sheng wanted to innovate this somehow, he began brainstorming ideas.

I remember reading about magnet levitation before, but that is only implemented in trains.

If I can somehow include magnet levitation in the Mana Supercar, that would be great…

For the levitation, I can use the principle of alike repelling to achieve that, as for the propulsion, I can use mana accompanied with magnets to do this.

Yu Sheng's idea stemmed from maglev, a common idea used in trains on Earth in this era, he knew about it from Wilfox's books.

To levitate the car, he would place a magnet on the base of the car and infuse floating mana into the air below it, the mana would be infused with the property of the repelling magnet pair of the one on the base of the car.

To propel the car, he would use the same principle at the back of the car to push the car forward and use opposite attraction at the front of the car, therefore creating a push and pull that would theoretically move the car forward.

However, to be able to infuse magnetic properties into his mana, he would need a higher understanding of mana and more versatility in [Basic Mana Application].

For now, I will leave it. I desperately need more resources in order to begin my plans, therefore, I shall open this workshop to the public, calling it the Imperial Workshop.

Yu Sheng set up a banner reading 'Imperial Workshop, containing things like appliances, vehicles and even weapons of the highest standard with the latest technology.'

He had gotten a lot of attraction even before he opened the workshop since people from Greveng could hear the noises of his labour and they came to check it out.

Now, they walked past it regularly to see what it would eventually become.

"Oh? What is this? Imperial Workshop? Let's go have a look!"

"Imperial? What does that mean, do you know? Let's see what they are offering."

Some people came in groups and some just came by themselves, all in all, Yu Sheng had around one hundred people enter the workshop, and had around sixty sales, earning him a total of $257,000.

This is not enough.

Yu Sheng's goal was to gather at least $2,000,000 before he left North Blackshine and headed for the West, where he would join a specific alliance that's only goal was to destroy Whitesea, he needed revenge.

Cavastine, Whitesea Building.

"Where is Wilfox? It has been a long time since I have seen him around." The boss of the entire Whitesea Organisation was paying a visit, an occasional occurrence.

But this time it was different, every time the boss was coming, Wilfox would rush back to Cavastine to see him, but the last few times the boss came, Wilfox was nowhere to be seen.

"He turned his location tracking off a while ago, therefore we cannot verify his current location. He could have gone rouge for all we know." Wilfox's assistant was filling in for him in his absence.

"I see. Anyway, how is the project coming along?" The boss asked.

"Are you referring to the Forceful Awakening project? By my estimations, we are currently 20% percent finished, there are still no test subjects who has worked on. In fact, right now, we are undergoing our seventh testing phase, using newborns as the test subjects." Wilfox's assistant, Li Mei replied.

"Boss Li! There has been a successful subject!" One of the researches ran out of the testing room, exclaiming.

"Oh? Begin the post-awakening process, start with the cognitive subordination and then begin the physical capability increase." Li Mei was elated.

"There is a problem, the subject is fully resistant to the cognitive subordination and his physical capabilities are already extremely high, if we attempt to increase them, it could cause some level of backlash."

After around half an hour, the researcher returned.

"Resistant? Is he willing to become a subordinate?"

"He is not talking at the moment."

"Attempt the cognitive subordination again after he begins to speak."

"Yes, boss."

After a while, the researcher returned, this time bearing good news.

"Cognitive subordination was successful with one hundred percent certainty!"
