"Okay, okay. You guys, remember what I told you! Okay!?"
Nico suddenly said as he cut me off from Jeremy and Link. The two turned to Nico with a confused expression.
"You really want us to go against the most powerful female group of the year!?"
"I can't believe you are still being serious about this. It's impossible to do."
Jeremy and Link said with an annoyed expression each, but Nico is still being firm in his request.
"Please! This will be my only request--"
"In that case, you got to do something for us!"
Jeremy said suddenly, which made Nico look at him quite annoyed. Link and Jeremy looked at each other with an evil smile, and they turned to Nico wearing the same grin.
"… Then? What is it you want?"
"Oh, it's no big deal. You should include us in your little demon hunting adventures!"
Huh…? Who with what, now?
"No. Not happening!"
Nico coldly denies, but Jeremy and Link are not giving up. The two folded their arms together and immediately started fighting for it.
"Oh, come on! We wanted to see what you guys were doing after school!"
"Don't tell me… you guys have something to hide, after all!?"
In the end, things ended up becoming like this.
I'm not sure what promise that Nico asked out of them, but I'm not taking three more children on the battle against demons. Controlling Nico alone is already tough when you're the only one who can see them, adding three more to command is only making it impossible.
And surely, if it's about the girls from class A, then they really don't have to do anything.
"What's this about?"
I asked them, and Nico turned to me with an awkward smile.
"Uh… I asked them a favor, and certainly it wasn't really a difficult--"
"Is this related to the girls from class A?"
"Well.…kind of…"
Nico tried his best to explain, but it all just came out as an awkward defense. I turned to Jeremy and Link, and the two were folding their arms. My brain began to move very quickly, and I came to an idea.
Perhaps… it's not wrong to utilize them.
"In that case, I'll allow it."
I said, and both Jeremy and Link looked widely happy. Nico, on the other hand, was very shocked.
"W-Wait, are you serious??"
"However, you three must stay outside the battle. Having inexperienced people will only endanger us, so don't even think about joining in."
I explained the condition to them, and Link looked rather confused.
"Was it really that dangerous?"
"If it wasn't dangerous, Nico wouldn't have gotten that wound last week."
I said, and they quickly got reminded by how dangerous this could've gotten. They saw the amount of bandages that was on Nico's right arm, and it was certainly very serious. I'm just confused as to how it got healed so quickly.
As long as these three stay outside the location, things will be fine. It will only become a problem if they join in, because then I will have to take care of more people than just Nico.
As for my side of the deal…
"So, what's the thing you promised Nico? About the girls of class A?"
I asked them, and Jeremy began explaining.
Nico was planning to find a way to give back what the girls did to me, without harming them of course. The only way to do so is by pranking them so hard without having anyone notice. He planned to have these three idiots to be the ones executing the plan behind the scenes, while he took the attention away from the girls.
It was… a wonderful plan. I'm very thankful to Nico for being so considerate towards me.
However, there is a flaw in his plan. Nico will have to be the one taking the attention of the girls, and I don't think the girls will still follow Nico after what happened last Friday.
So… I'll fix this plan up for them just a little bit.
"Do you have the prank idea in mind?"
I asked Nico, and he nodded.
"Yes. It's going to be done in class."
"Then, I'll be the one taking their attention."
Hearing that, all four of them looked surprised.
"What's wrong? They're my targets. Naturally, I also want to take part in this little revenge."
I said to them, and Nico laughed a little as he folded his arms.
"In that case, I'll join in with these boys to set the prank up. You, on the other hand, will be the one occupying the girls?"
I nodded at Nico, and I pondered deeply about what I can do to those girls. I already have a plan in mind, but to execute them at the same time as Nico's…
Well, it will only multiply the damages.
"Let's discuss more about this later. Are we going?"
I asked Nico, and he nodded while taking out his phone. His hand began toying around with the online cab application, and we waited while he ordered the cab. After five minutes, the cab arrived and we were well on our way to the demon location.
That day, we hunted a demon much stronger than any of the previous ones we've faced. But, Nico and I took care of it rather easily.
Though much stronger, that demon was still nothing compared to what we will face from then on. That demon was the last demon we've ever faced from the 'E' class category.
Everything will only become much tougher from this point.

After fighting the demon, the day ended and Tuesday came.
Nothing really notable really happens on Tuesday. Nico and the boys were busy setting up their part of the pranking plan, while I was busy with mine. With Nico helping them, the three idiots will be able to properly set up their prank plans perfectly, not allowing any errors to be made. Hopefully they did so without getting found, because Nico's reputation is on the line if that were to happen.
As for my side of the plan, all I had to do was visit a certain boss of mine.
Tuesday ended without anything notable happening, and Wednesday arrived. Today's the day we execute the plan.
I will make sure no one else dares to mess with me ever again.
The first lesson has ended, and lunch break finally started. Class A was just finished with a test on the first lesson, and everyone was quite hectic about the results. The classmates were talking to one another about certain questions and answers that came out during the test, and naturally there will be variations of emotions in the classroom.
One emotion seemed to be quite out of the ordinary from a certain girl.
Alica Kenton suddenly stood up from her seat. She walked up all the way to the front of the class and stood before the whiteboard. Everyone who saw turned their eyes to her, but no one expected what she was going to do next.
She took a deep breath, and she shouted into the classroom.
"Everyone!! Can you lend me your ears for a second!?"
After she shouted, everyone turned their eyes to her. Boys and girls, curious about what the prettiest girl in the class will be talking about.
On his seat, Nico and his three friends only let out a silent giggle. After all, they knew exactly what was about to happen.
Alica lifted her arm up, showing everyone about the envelope that she was holding. Everyone knows that most envelopes existing in a school like this usually contain a love confession, since those were love letters. But after seeing Alica's expression, it doesn't seem to be a love letter.
She looked… very angry.
"Is there anyone here who can tell me who placed this letter?"
Alica asked loudly in the classroom, and everyone turned confused.
"Where did you find the letter?"
A girl asked from the crowd on the left, and Alica turned to them.
"Under my desk. There was only this letter. Does anyone know who placed this letter there?"
Alica asked, but no one seemed to be saying anything. Her eyes gazed around the classroom, but no one seemed to know. Her eyes then landed at a specific boy group who is ignoring her, and she bit her lips from anger.
"Nick."
Alica called Nico from the front side of the class, and Nico turned his attention to her.
Having received the attention of the guy she likes, Alica faltered into what she was going to say next. However, she mustered up the courage once more and was able to deliver her heart's content.
"Did you… place this letter?"
Alica asked carefully, but Nico shook his head confusedly.
"No… what letter was it?"
Nico asked, and Alica lowered her hand slowly. She opened the envelope and took out the paper inside, and she answered coldly.
"… It's an ultimatum. From someone who still doesn't know their place."
