After Battle Matters

"I'd bet Team leader is proud! I'd be worried if he wasn't. Ahahaha, with such strength at the emperor realm I wouldn't have been surprised if Leiji took down a 5th rank equivalent." Ning Qi Zhi laughed.

"I'm afraid I'll have to stop Martial uncle there. I know that the attack just now had been 5th rank level. However, there is a massive difference between the 5th rank and the 4th. Even if it isn't as large as 3rd to 4th or 6th to 7th. Facing one attack like that was quite draining. And it will take a little bit of time for recovery. As such I highly doubt I'm a match for the 5th rank as I am now. Perhaps once I reach the 3rd Order… or maybe even the peak of the second. Unfortunately only time will tell." I said, immediately calming the exaggeration.

My father, Yang Kai, on the other hand began thinking about it. "Oh well, let's count this as a freak accident and blessing of the heavens. Say the Heavens couldn't bear to see such a prodigy die and so they lent a helping hand. This way we can say you're just a bit above the 3rd rank strength. It's better to not to be overestimated. But one must understand their true strength." He said, with a smirk that conveyed he had a fairly decent Idea on my current abilities.

"Yes, this is for the best. And would explain why my cultivation feels incredibly stable. More stable than it's ever been to be precise… This is great!" I said with delight.

"Hey, Leiji, I need to have a word… No, here is fine. How dare you be so damn reckless! You just promoted and fought just like that! Moreover, the opponents were in way higher realms. That was dangerous." Feng Ying said, shaking.

"I see, I must have worried Mother Feng, and if I have worried you with my actions it stands to reason I have also worried Mother Bai. For that I apologize." I said, cupping hands hoping I don't get smacked.

"Feng Ying, you're being a bit unreasonable. I was there ready to act if needed. And such a group I can easily handle alone. Leiji hasn't had a proper Grindstone since the saint realm. It's only natural to seize such opportunities.

And then Feng Ying and Bai Yi began berating Yang Kai for letting me fight. Explaining how it was too dangerous and reckless. He would retort. Looking like it was going to take a while I began recalling my experience. And I had a thought that almost seemed impossible. But I had to find out for certain.

"Uhm… I actually have a question about something. Those were all Low rank Ink Clan aside from the last one I killed right?" I asked, attempting to change the subject.

"Yes, why do you ask? Did you notice something wrong?" Qi Tai Chu asked, with a raised brow on his old face.

"Well, I felt like the weakest of those I killed just now… well simply put I feel like they were barely comparable to a peak 3rd Order Emperor. Is it possible the Ink force has such a massive difference as a cost of the corruptive nature it carries. Like it can't possibly be as strong as the Open Heaven Realms because of that? Otherwise I would probably say those Ink Clansmen weren't low rank. But below it. I can't imagine a 1st rank Open heaven ever losing to one of those disgusting things. Even if they were newly broken through and had a trash constitution. It shouldn't take longer than 10-20 breaths. To achieve a victory, less if they didn't care about injury." I explained my thoughts.

"Hmm… I see, when they are bundled together like that it could be difficult to tell. But if they weren't even low rank then that makes your feat not as impressive right? So why bring it up?" Shen Ao said butting in.

"Aside from how backwards that comment is. I don't care about fame. I never have. I don't perform like that simply for the recognition. I improve myself so I can rid the world of such a foul existence. The mere sight of them disgusts me. The filicidal shit stains don't deserve to live in my 3000 Worlds. 'Uniting the heavens' my ass. They simply want to rape pillage murder kill and destroy. To turn the entire 3000 Worlds into this. It sickens me to my core." I said, motioning to the expansive void filled with ink force.

"Ahahaha, you really know how to talk. Good! Then when we get back we should have a drink to celebrate." Shen Ao said, proudly patting my shoulder.

"That sounds like a good thing. However, I have… something I must take care of. It wasn't just my mothers that worried about me." I said, with a smile and politely declined the offer.

"Oh, that's right you're like your father in more ways than one. Good luck young man. And take care of those two wives of yours." Shen Ao chuckled, knowing what was going to happen.

I walked over to Huo Lei and Xiu Che, who were both still stunned at just how much power I had actually been holding back. And also in awe at my declaration that I don't care about fame. Once I got close enough I pulled them in for a hug. Wrapping an arm around each of them.

"Making excuses for my recklessness just now would be unfair to the both of you. However, I will not regret my decision, because I can now fully control my new strength. Will the two of you find it in your heart to forgive this foolish husband, even now?" I said, thankful that I did it. Because I can safely hold my beautiful wives in my arms again. Without fear of hurting them with my strength.

"We are willing to forgive you. But Husband has some duties to take care of." Huo Lei said nuzzling up against me.

"That's right! Words are not enough for us wives to forgive you. Though seeing Husbands heroic figure in action was… thrilling." Xiu Che said, with a smile filled with desire.
