Training The Disciples

"So you're also tracking down potential talent. Not a bad idea." Fang Qing said, as I continued flying around the world.

"That wasn't the purpose of this flight. I know that the Void World will find their honorable brothers and sisters without my aid. However, that child… seemed quite capable. I think it's best to give them a chance to start their training as soon as they may wish. Should they make that choice." I said, as we skipped over numerous other locations, big and small, and both dense and not.

"I see… Young Master is only going to step out of that freedom if the situation calls for it. Good, like I said, this is a rare thing in the world. Especially with what I saw out there. Make no mistake, I will help you until the very end. Those disgusting creatures don't deserve much of any mercy. That is, the mercy of a quick death is barely acceptable." Fang Qing said. "Maybe even I will find a way to condense my own Dao Seal. Then we can have two small universes. And with that item of yours it shouldn't be too hard to collect those resources again." She continued.

"We can certainly give it a try, but I must make the item first. And it isn't going to be easy. I can't even craft it in the Void World sadly. That would give me far more time. But let's not focus on that. I have the time to be worry free. So I'm going to be free of worries for that time." I said, ending the conversation and taking in the sights of all the effort I had put into the Void World.

Red swirls of energy could be seen fairly often. Each felt like a massive wealth of power and yet also not at the same time. It was quite peculiar. This was the power generated by the faith that the people had in Yang Kai, Fate. A smirk appeared on my face. "My job here in the Void World truly is nearing the end." I thought.

~~3 Months Later Void Temple~~

"I wonder where the Young Master is? It's been three months. I wonder how many interesting things he's done in this time." A male disciple said.

"I'm more curious how handsome the Young Master is. Oh I also heard he broke through to the Emperor Realm. I can't wait to see his beautiful aura again. Last time was during the conflict with the 'Evil Shadow Sect'." A female disciple said, and then started some gossip with some other female disciples.

Then the talking stopped abruptly as the air grew heavy. I had appeared back on the same platform I had been on before. I looked around and nodded. "Good, since you have come to learn something from me, I shall do my best to teach you. But before we begin, understand that there is no obligation to learn my daos. There are many in the world. And it is incredibly difficult to learn all of them. The easiest… is likely the hammer. So we will begin with that one." I said. "And I have thought about it. I'll teach them for a month each. So you have me for five months." I added.

The training began. The disciples weren't nearly as interested in the hammer dao. But still they paid attention. Even if they learned nothing, to some this was already an eye opening experience. A few Disciples even managed to learn a few things about the hammer dao. And they began practicing in earnest.

Soon I moved on to teaching the Spear Dao. Which caused several more Disciples eyes to open. Each now thinking of new ways to incorporate the Dao of the spear into their own methods. Or create a whole new move. So even more people had grown to love the spear and thus began training in earnest.

"Alright, everyone, the dao of space is up next. This one is a bit more difficult to understand. So don't feel bad about not learning anything. I don't expect many of you will." I said, attempting to reassure the disciples that they would not be looked down on.

"Master!" A Disciple exclaimed, and saluted. "This Disciple is curious, why do you teach the Space Dao before the Thunder & Lightning Dao?" He couldn't help but ask.

"The simple reason is that as esoteric as space and Time Dao's are… The Thunder & Lightning Dao is infinitely more domineering. The amount of control one needs over it is beyond the imagination. And only those who understand the domineering power of the Thunder & Lightning Dao, and learn to cope with its might, may fully grasp the chance to master this Dao." I explained, and then proceeded to give instruction on a basic level of the Space Dao.

Like I had thought, more people understood this Dao than previously thought. "Hmmm… I wonder if that was due to the influence of the Space Dao Marks my father has. Or if it was more than just that. There were more people who understood this Dao than there were who understood the Spear Dao." I thought.

"That's right and the Space Dao is much harder to learn. Even getting full access to your talent I still struggled to understand some of it until we fought those detestable Ink Clan." Fang Qing responded in curiosity.

"It must be the interference of the power of fate. It must be. And if these Disciples grow up into powerful Open Heaven Realms. The war will be a whole lot easier." I thought in reply.

I went into teaching the Time Dao which had a similar result. And then finished off with the Thunder and Lightning Dao.

"I know this time has been fruitful but I have to take my son out of here now. So I hope you learned some good things. But there are matters that require his attention." Yang Kai said, appearing and placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Thank you for your time yo… Master Leiji!" The Disciples said, understanding that I wouldn't be returning unless I got free time. And who has free time when at war?

"Continue to study well and grow stronger. May you one day be mighty Open Heaven Realm Masters, standing in defense of the Human Race." I spoke, with hope, and confidence. And then my father and I vanished from sight.
