Sun & Moon Trip (3)

"So it really is a good place for you. That's good. When you get the chance you should come see your big sister here." The girlish voice of Moon's Nether Glimmer said, as she put a gentle and confident hand on her chest. "Oh! And bring some snacks too!" She added quickly.

"So, little Brother Yang Kai, are these the others you wanted to have come and visit us? They don't like much." The boyish voice of Sun's Burning Shine said, floating near the ship. "Well, at least when compared to me anyways. But, who..." He added, as his eyes wandered and then stopped at Ruo Xi.

"What's wrong? Why did you stop talking, who..." Moon's Nether Glimmer asked, and promptly shut up after landing eyes on Ruo Xi.

"Brother Huang, Sister Lan, please, the questions you have in your mind, I will do my best to answer them. But I have to ask you to snap out of this confused state." Yang Kai said, his voice was imbued with an odd strength. And he had used the marks on his hands, to alleviate the pressure on those who would otherwise be unable to withstand it.

"Oh, yes, who is she? I feel familiar with her." Sun's Burning Shine asked, curiously.

"Her name is Zhang Ruo Xi. And she is a friend of mine." Yang Kai explained in simple terms.

"She feels like... Are we supposed to know her?" Moon's Nether Glimmer asked, tilting her head cutely.

"You may not know of her now. But she is a descendant of First Light, just the same as you. However, I'd appreciate it if we could avoid that topic for a little bit. Big Sister Lan, Big Brother Huang, I have a request, Would it be alright for you to bestow more of your marks upon the Dragons and Phoenixes we have brought today? With the marks help, the war against the Ink Clan will go more smoothly." I asked, cupping my hands and then waited for a response.

"Hmm, Oh! That's right, Little brother Yang Kai came earlier to ask for that same thing. I don't mind giving my mark, but do you have the fee?" Sun's Burning Shine asked, eyeing me up and down.

"Wait brother, doesn't that little brother feel different from the others? He doesn't seem normal..." Moon's Nether Glimmer asked, floating in front of me.

"This is my Son, Yang Leiji." Yang Kai answered.

"Oh! That's right, little brother Yang Kai said that Yang Leiji was special, right?" Moon's Nether Glimmer said, basically revealing to everyone she has a ditzy memory.

"I am different, that is a fact. But special... hmm, perhaps. Though I see it more like that I see the world through a different lens, so to speak. Though, I guess that isn't what my father is referring to. But that is best left for the eyes to see instead of the ears to hear." I said, purposefully being esoteric.

With a nod I flew up and away from the ship, I didn't suffer any issues even under the immensely chaotic energy permeating the Void here. And then I assumed my Dragon form and flew around a little to ensure that no one could mistake that this was my real body. And then, I transformed again, this time taking on my Phoenix form.

"Ah! My darling son is so handsome." Su Yan called out, seeing my Phoenix form for the first time today.

The twins, Sun's Burning Shine & Moon's Nether Glimmer, looked at me in utter shock. They were surprised. For that matter so was Ruo Xi. To them, this was unheard of. Yeah, in the case of the twins, they had features of all different Ancient Divine Spirits. But neither of them had two distinct separate forms.

In the case of Ruo Xi's surprise, she wasn't aweing in amazement. Rather she had a different feeling boiling up in her blood. Like an instinctual urge to pounce and claim her prize for herself. Not as a hunter but as a woman.

I landed back down on the ship in my human form and stretched a bit. "Yep, transforming in this place is significantly harder. Simply existing in that chaotic energy was enough to cause massive benefits. It won't be much longer until I achieve the Great Realm at this pace." I said, softly. And meant it as a warning not to leave the protective barrier just yet. "Though I still think that if I were able to purify the Ink Giant Spirit God, the one sealed in the Ancestral Land... I don't think anything will compare to that speed. And it would be more stable... This place is for tempering and the other place is for building." I said, making a fist so fast it sounded like thunder and felt like wind.

"Little Brother, have you tried to combine the two forms together? You know, like your big sister here and... that brother." Moon's Nether Glimmer asked, not expressing a lot more interest.

"I am still far from managing to pull something like that off. Even if I was at what my current realm's absolute peak of power would allow, even with my ridiculous boosts, I am still unable to achieve that level of a feat. I'd have to be on par with Big Sister Lan and Big Brother Huang to manage it. At least that's what I think for the moment." I explained. "Though, when I have the time I'll come by again to train here. This place was unexpectedly beneficial for me. But right now I need to prepare for the fight with the Ink Clan. And one of those steps is to..." I elaborated further.

The twins then pointed at each of the Dragons and Phoenixes as if in absolute tandem. Each time they bestowed a mark to them and even boosted the limits of their sources. It happened so fast no one could stop them. The two of them really knew how to work quickly. They granted a total of 30, this number included myself and my wives of course.

Those who were granted these marks underwent an immediate growth spurt. It was truly a wondrous sight to behold. And while they did that, 2 absolutely gargantuan crystals appeared in front of me.
