Drunken Gao Xue Ting
Everyone turned and looked at Yang Kai, each of them had varying levels of intrigue and curiosity. And then now knowing that the effects of the pill were not just effective, but were a flat out guarantee, everyone sat back down in silence, each thinking about how best to implement this pill across the Star Boundary. And then the obvious question arose.
"When this pill becomes widespread throughout the Star Boundary, it's bound to reach the sight of the Elders from the Cave Heaven Paradises. Do we have a way to limit the problematic nature that is bound to occur as a result of this change?" Flower Shadow asked.
"Of course, at first they will likely push back against its use at first, and likely demand an answer for all of their questions. But by that time, I'll have an example of nearly 100 years of its use. And there is also the already prosperous Night-Love City. So there won't be any issue there." Yang Kai answered the first step.
"And once we get past that point, they will inevitably desire to learn this method for themselves. In which case, I will teach them. However, it is up to them to understand that, I already have a super massive load on my plate as it is. In the long run it might be more helpful to train as many young alchemists to specifically make this one pill. However, we don't have that kind of time, at least when it comes to myself. As such, their potential alchemists must undergo the instruction under the watchful eye of my mother Xia, and Martial Uncle Wonderous Pill. Hence why I gave them both the methods on how to refine it." I said, with a half smirk.
"You're quite dubious with those planning skills of yours. No wonder Yang Kai lets you practically run these meetings." Heaven's Revelations Great Emperor chuckled. "To think we are basically poaching their future alchemists for this. It's quite clear who will end up as the bulwark in the future. So easy that I need not use my special abilities to see it." He sighed, realizing that his abilities were relatively pointless.
Just then the door flung wide open, and a couple appeared in the doorway. The woman had a face that seemingly couldn't decide whether to be upset, angry, pissed or just flat out downright livid. The man was practically face palming, but, not really, it was the expression one wears as they are just about to facepalm in embarrassment.
On top of that I recognized this woman, she was Gao Xue Ting. I also took note of what was in her hand... A wine gourd, but this was no ordinary wine gourd, it held a significantly larger quantity of wine inside, than one may first assume. I instinctively gave a look toward Li Wu Yi to the look on his face. It was one of similar shock, but also, giving a look as if to say, "I never should have given her that gift for their wedding day."
"So! Where is this little brat who stole my sweet girl's heart?!" Gao Xue Ting said with a hiccup. "I have words for him! And for you too Yang Kai!" She continued with another hiccup.
"Temple Master Wen, who let Sister Gao drink from that? Also, would you mind explaining this?" Yang Kai asked quickly, and even went as far as to show off a small portion of his power, a mistake he would soon regret, but not for the reasons that one could assume at the moment.
"Ah, this, my daughter Wen Xue Qing, when she returned just a few moments ago..." Azure Sun's Temple Master Wen Zi Shan spoke, and explained the situation.
"Hmm, I see. Yeah, I can see that sending Sister Gao into a drunken fit, for a few different reasons. However, that doesn't mean barging in on a private meeting like this is excusable. We have been discussing important business this whole time. And now it's been interrupted again." Yang Kai said, narrowing his eyes to show his frustration.
Just then I received a signal from Yang Kai, indicating he was in a state of emergency. One that he wouldn't even be able to move safely. That is, move to ensure the safety of those around him. After all, he has been holding back a considerable amount of force this entire time. And it was for the sake of getting the ball rolling on matters that absolutely must begin. If he wasn't available to basically shove down everyone's throats that I am going to have the final say in all of the Palace's matters for quite some time... Problems would ensue. But now, it seems like there is no longer any choice.
"Alright, I'm afraid I must demand that we put all matters on pause for the moment. Otherwise extreme catastrophes may befall us. We can return to this other surprise matter at a later time. So I will not ask for your compliance at this time. Oh and don't get in my way, my current task is already hard enough as it is." I interjected immediately, as I stood up and clapped my hands to demand attention.
I walked over to Yang Kai, and my mothers all backed away. I placed a hand on his shoulder and teleported us both back outside the Star Boundary, into the safety of the void.
"Thank you, I wasn't expecting that I would be completely incapable of even using teleportation. Take these for now. But I'm afraid I'm going to need the gourds for myself sadly." Yang Kai said, breathing heavily, handing me a few guard vines, which I promptly put away inside the safety of my small realm.
"Worry not father, I half expected this sort of thing to happen the moment we had to suppress it. I'm actually shocked you managed to hold on this long." I said, with a smirk.
"Heh, most of that was because of that demonstration you did for elder brother and elder sister. Seeing such a massive difference in effect, I'm sure anyone could learn a thing or two. Now, back away, this is going to be a big one." Yang Kai half chuckled and half grunted.
