“Mark, if you help me, I promise I will do anything for you in return. Just as long as cheating is not involved.”

“You will do anything I want?” Mark probed, his eyes glittering as he focused on her. He now seemed more interested in her promise than in whatever it was she wanted from him.

“Yes, I give you my word.”

Mark stared into her eyes and seeing how desperate she was, he leaned back into his seat and tapped his fingers on the table. “Careful what you promise, Darling, I’m not a good boy.” 

“I don’t care,” Elena replied with determination in her eyes. “I’m not a good girl either.”

"You seem to want to know about other people's sex lives with their partners, why don't you tell me about yours?" Elena asked.

She had made this request to get Sarah's reaction as she thought the latter would not want to talk about it, but who knew that she shouldn't have gone towards that direction?

"Really?" Sarah's brows lifted. "You want to know?" She looked surprised with the request but to Elena, she merely thought that Sarah seemed she wasn't expecting to be asked that question since she was always the one posing that question to others.

"Yes," came Elena's reply accompanied by a nod. Without knowing., her glass was almost empty

"Oh… If you are curious then, I will tell you," Sarah said with a smile as she put her drink aside. This was the first signal to Elena that she had made a mistake.
