“Mark, if you help me, I promise I will do anything for you in return. Just as long as cheating is not involved.”

“You will do anything I want?” Mark probed, his eyes glittering as he focused on her. He now seemed more interested in her promise than in whatever it was she wanted from him.

“Yes, I give you my word.”

Mark stared into her eyes and seeing how desperate she was, he leaned back into his seat and tapped his fingers on the table. “Careful what you promise, Darling, I’m not a good boy.” 

“I don’t care,” Elena replied with determination in her eyes. “I’m not a good girl either.”

Elena was really tempted to ask Mark when they could leave for the party.

He had told her that they had an important conversation to talk about when they returned to his place. She really hoped they would leave earlier so she could preserve some energy for the discussion.

There was lots of dancing, drinking, chatting and munching at the afterparty. The men removed their formal jackets and rolled up the sleeves of their shirts. Mark wasn't an exception to that. The only thing he didn't do was to unbutton his shirt like the others.

Chloe, the bride-to-be seemed to be the only person that was able to get out of her clothes. She put on a pink satin jumpsuit with no hands. She had long planned something like this.

Alan couldn't call her out because this was their engagement afterparty. He hadn't specified that the colour of her outfit had something to do with both parties so he couldn't blame her.
