Tip of the Spear

I sprinted through the entrance of the Ironclad General's fortress, followed closely by Saki and Kaito. Kaito was limping, and I knew that his injury was worse than he let on. Still, he was determined to rescue Mari and the other kidnapped girls.

"Saki, you and Kaito take the left, I'll take the right," I ordered as we reached a fork in the path.

"But what if we run into one of the Lieutenants?" Saki asked.

"We'll handle it," I replied confidently. "Just be ready for anything."

As we split up, I made my way through a long corridor filled with traps and obstacles. It was clear that the General had gone to great lengths to protect his fortress. But I was determined to get through.

Eventually, I came to a room with a large metal door. I could hear muffled screams and cries coming from inside. Mari and the other girls were definitely in there.
