Defying Gravity

The spectral guardians emerged from the walls of the room, their ghostly forms glowing with an eerie blue light that seemed to pulse with a life of its own. Their bodies were insubstantial, wavering as they floated towards us. They were humanoid in shape, but their features were indistinct, as if they were made up of smoke or mist.

As they approached, I could feel the chill in the air, as if their very presence was draining the warmth from the room. Their movements were graceful, but also disjointed, as if they were disconnected from the physical world. I knew that we were in for a tough fight against these spectral foes.

As the spectral guardians attacked, we split up and tried to engage them in combat. However, their ghostly nature made it difficult to defend against their attacks. Even when we managed to land a blow, it phased through them harmlessly.
