"What is wrong with you, Kaylan?!" The Matron yelled.
"How dare you beat up a security guard and use a bottle on him?"
Just like she normally does, Kaylan didn't reply, but just kept her head bowed.
They were in the office with two other officials.
"Hey! Talk to me!! Do you know you could get whipped for that? He's currently receiving medical attention because of you!"
"He...tried to molest me" Kaylan finally said, deciding she had to say something.
"Seriously? And that's enough reason to hurt him thar way?" One of the women in the room snapped.
"Hey, you don't just go around hurting people, little girl. Stop acting like your mother!" The second woman said and Kaylan was tempted to shoot her a stare
. silence descended.
"I'll be pardoning you because you're kind of new to the rules" The Matron said. "But next time it happens, I'll make sure you're punished severally. Do you understand?"
And Kaylan just nodded perfunctorily.
"Good. Now, leave" the Matron further said and Kaylan just bowed, then turned around and left.

She felt so angry as she walked out of the office and headed to her room. The nerves of those bastards!! When her mother was still alive, no one dared to speak to her in such manner. She was feared alongside her morner and dreaded. But now? She was being ridiculed?
She got to her room and met one of her roommates there, just reading a book. And quietly, she went to her bed to lie.
"Hey, Kaylan. Are you okay?" The lady in the room asked with concern.
She was the only nicest person Kaylan knew in the hall.
"I'm fine" she said under her breath without looking at her.
It was a good thing she was backing her because she didn't want her staring at her face or anything. Suddenly, tears spilled her eyes.
Oh! She missed everything - she missed her mum,her friends at the camp - everything! Especially Adrian.
Adrian was her best friend back there at camp and his mum and hers were quite close - strengthening the relationship.
Despite the fact he was a boy, they were still very close and cooperated a lot - together and that was one thing Kaylan missed about him. He was too supportive.
But everything got ruined on the night they'd been attacked as they both splitted. Adrian had been out to get some fruits when it happened and Kaylan really couldn't tell if he had also been killed wherever he was, or he had managed to escape.
Oh! They destroyed her home, destroyed her family! And she hated them for it.

"No!! Please! I'm sorry. I'm sorry" the lady pleaded on her knees as Alpha Asher stood in front of her, the knife in his hand.
"You should've thought about that before trying to betray me, Pamela" Asher said in his usual icy voice and before she could say another word, he split her neck.
"Hah!" She took her last breath and dropped dead on the floor.
Without a glint of remorse or anything, Asher dropped the blood-stained knife on the floor, turned around and left the room.
His hands were fixing his shirt button as he climbed down the stairs to the open hall where he found his boys waiting for him - the three most trusted members of his pack.
"Greetings, Alpha" tbe boys bowed and greeted him as he walked gracefully towards his seat.
"Make sure your reason for calling me here is as important as you made it seem, Mavis" Asher stated gruffly as he took his throne-like seat and exhaled deeply.
"Now, what is it?" He asked.
"It's Alpha Zane" the Mavis boy began. "Our spy in his pack has given some information to us. He said Alpha Zane is on his way to the Babylon Hall to get a bride".
Asher paused.
"A bride?" He repeated.
"Yes, Alpha - someone that'd give him an heir".
"Hmm. I see" Asher nodded in understanding.
So, Zane wants to be ahead of him - he thought.
"And Alpha..." Mavis continued. "I heard something more interesting. The Hunter's Daughter was actually captured and is currently at the Babylon Hall".
"The Human girl??" Asher's eyes widened in shock. "The hell! Get the things ready, Mavis. We're leaving for that hall first thing in the morning. The Hunter's Daughter is mine"
