Chapter 30 New

We got to our home earlier than I had expected. The jet landed at an airfield and we found a taxi to take us to the hospital. As we rode the taxi, I began feeling extremely nervous, as if something was very wrong. Given that my brother was on a deathbed, something was truly wrong but that had not made me feel as strongly as I was feeling in that moment. The feeling was so terrible that I stopped walking. My friends also stopped.

“What is it, dear?” Leleti inquired.

I shook my head, not wanting to tell them anything because I thought they would think I was being extra dramatic. “Nothing. I’m just a little worried.”
