FLORENCE'S POINT OF VIEW
The four of them immediately went out as soon as Cleo parked her car on the lot. I can't help but to shake my head while looking at them. They don't look excited at all, really. Please note the sarcasm in my voice.
Ali walked besides me and wrapped her arms around mine. "Florence. I have a question."
I arched a brow. "What is it?"
She smiled sweetly at me. "Will you still love me as a friend if I become a cockroach?"
My forehead creased with her stupid question. I look at her with a dead-pan expression. "Tell me. What screws in your head did you lose along the way?" I asked scornfully.
She hits my arms. "You're always so sour. On a serious note, what do you think do boys usually like as a gift?"
A malicious grin crept between my lips. I pat Ali's head and breathed dramatically. "My daughter is really maturing now. I'm proud of you."
Her eyebrows furrowed. "What the hell are you talking about?"
