“ What the fuck is happening here, Beatrix?!”

I was quick to push Alpha Dominic away from me as soon as I heard the angry shriek of my loving grandfather. He’s pointing his hands at my face before he looks at the man who just smirking beside me.

I tried to advance my step and hold my Pup’s hand. “ Let me explain, pup.” I said before glaring at Alpha Dominic. His wicked ways brought us here and he’s wise enough to fool me into this kind of trap.

Pup looks shocked but overall, he looks disappointed. His voice wakes almost all of the people here in the house, including Leon who is utterly shocked as am I, and my brother, who hurriedly run here. Recognition crosses his face the moment that he saw Alpha Dominic and before I knew it, he was throwing punches to him. Alpha Silas is fast but not fast enough compared to the King of all Alpha’s.

“ Alpha Silas!” I shouted trying to stop them but he only hissed before turning a full 180 degrees on the air and kicking Alpha Dominic in his jaw. This made the latter stumble upon my study table. Books have fallen but they didn’t stop from fighting.

Alpha Dominic chuckles and the way how we lick the blood out of his bruised lips is too bothering. It’s like right now, he reach his limits and I know exactly that my brother will be in danger.

“ Pup, he’s the new Alpha of the Lennox clan! I think he’s trying to kill Beatrix,” my poor brother shouted while breathing heavily, obviously tired from all of his attacks. Pup, after hearing these words are more than angrier than ever. He was fuming mad to the point that it makes me scared.

A loud growl echoes in the house, I am sure that even the wind stops from its track because of how powerful the screams of my grandfather were. The veins on his neck are popping and before I knew it, some of the things that I have hanged in this room wavers because of his shout.

“ Get out of the room!”

No one dares to moves, I thought it was me because I am scared as hell but as soon that I took a step forward, he glares which made me stops in my tracks.

“ All of you except Silas, you brat and that motherfucker!”

In this deadly moment, I dared to laugh. The way how my pup cursed and was called Alpha Dominic is epic. But I bite my lips when all of them throw me dagger stares. “ Beatrix.” Alpha Silas warned before he fixed himself and lean to the wall, waiting for the wrath of our grandfather.

“ This is your plan, you wicked weasel?!” I whisper to Alpha Dominic when he assumes his position beside me.

He only smirks at my remarks. “ Play along,” he said.

“ You’ll get killed today.”

“ You cannot kill me even if there is three of you here,” cockily, he snapped.

I cannot believe how arrogant he is but overall, he's spewing facts. “ Arrogant, huh?” I mocked and momentarily stopped when I saw how angry my brother was, looking at us both murmuring words.

“ I will stay here grandfather, believe me.” Leon’s pleading awakens us from the tension. Both of his hands are resting cockily inside of his pants pockets while my grandfather is trying to lure him outside. He even has the guts to wink at me even though Pup is literally pushing him outside of the room.

Leon didn’t budge and it made pup more furious. “ I know about it,” he reveals which made all of us stops from breathing. What a traitor! He even admits to his betrayal!

Alpha Silas hissed at what Leon said. “ Asshole,” he cursed under his breath. Pup didn’t have a choice but to pushed Leon inside and lock the door of my room. Gracefully, like the head of the Creed’s family, we watched how silence he walks across of us. My body is so nervous that I ended up, gripping Alpha Dominic’s arm.

The sound of the chair as he pulls it closer to him made a terrifying sound across the floor. Pup didn’t waste any second, his seriousness makes me want to beg for forgiveness even though I didn’t know what I needed to apologize for.

Alpha Dominic wasn’t even bothered to even just an inch because he ended up having the guts to smoke in this kind of situation. I tried to stop him but he avoid my hand and successfully put the cigarette into his mouth.

“ Explain.”

One word, only one word and it’s the sign. When we are young, we used to do things that are silly. Leon is the troublemaker. He’s always hanging out with a bunch of assholes, he even once fucked the Luna of the other packs and we all know what it means when Pup used only one word to start the conversation.

Usually, I am the one who gets all of us out of trouble but right now, I am the one that is in trouble.

“ Your granddaughter is my girlfriend, Pup.” I pinched his arms because I didn’t remember agreeing to this.

Pup hissed when he heard what Alpha Dominic’s called him.

“ What the fuck are you saying?” Alpha Silas is the first one to react. He’s more furious right now, and ready to attack once again.

Pup didn’t said anything and it makes me want to stumble into my feet but I held my ground and muster the courage to speak.

“ No, I was just---we are just---” my voice quivers, lost in finding the right words to describe the situation that we are in.

“ making out?”

If I only have my gun right now, the bullet will be released and go straight to Alpha Dominic’s mouth. Yes, mouth. So he can learn how to stop from saying stupid things that will only make us on the verge of facing our deaths.

“ What did you say? You fucking bastard?!” I yelp when Alpha Silas gripped Alpha Dominic’s collar. He’s too furious about what he heard.

“ Stop it, Silas.” I tried to stop him but he only look at me…as if I just betrayed him.

Pup cleared his throat but he’s into deep thinking.

“ Do you have lights?” The question stopped all of us. In this odd scenario, my grandfather is asking the leader of our rival pack is he have lights. My brother laughed and Leon is smirking as if he’s understanding the context of all of this bullshit. Then, my eyes widens as soon as I saw that Alpha Dominic offers his famous lighter. The one with the insignia on it.

The sound of the lighter as it produces fire was heard into the room. I don’t know if it’s just the silence or no one really wants to create a noise. Alpha Dominic looks proud while he’s watching my grandfather.

“ What the fuck is happening to this house?!” Alpha Silas murmurs, nevertheless shut the hell up.

Five minutes. Pup took 5 minutes into surveying Alpha Dominic’s presence as if he just dives into a deep oblivion. The way how his pupils dilate while looking at him, I know that I don’t have any exit to this wicked plan.

“ When is the wedding?” Pup asked. And only Leon have the audacity to laugh at this situation.
