Trevor pov
I arrived at the nearest human city after a six hour drive. I had no intention of going back to the pack or anywhere near it. With the money I had brought with me, I managed to rent a room.
I parked my car outside the aged building from which I had rented the room and laid down on the bed. The room was old and obsolete. The bed made funny creaking noises and the attached bathroom was without a doubt overused. There were cracks in the wall and the paint on the wall was peeling so despite the room being tidied up, it didn't look very clean.
However, I couldn't care less. I stared at the ceiling of the room for some time and closed my eyes as I thought about my life and my choices. For the first time, I started to regret my actions. My heart ached as I thought about what I had done to my mate. I shouldn't have cheated on her in the first place. I should have been patient.
