Natalie goes to surprise her mate on his birthday, only to be surprised herself. She finds him cheating on her with her best friend, Tina. What’s more? She overhears them plotting to kill her once she gives birth to her pup. Fearing for her safety and the sake of her pup, she flees the pack and rejects her mate on her way out. She settles in the human city and prepares to give birth to her pup while vowing to come back and get her revenge. After months pass she gives birth, however, her pup doesn’t survive. Trevor realizes that she has left and rejected him. Angered, he accepts the rejection and proceeds to announce his mistress as his chosen luna. However, his wolf doesn’t cooperate. He tries to force him to mark his lover as his luna, which results in landing him in the infirmary. Even after being released from the infirmary, his wolf doesn’t show up and soon the elders see him unfit to lead a werewolf pack. Soon he is denounced from the position. He watched painfully as his beta is appointed as the new alpha. He thinks that Tina would help, however, gets the shock of his life when he realises that Tina and his Beta Alan are mates. They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression. 
What would happen if they run into each other? Would Trevor finally find the courage and strength to face her and apologize? Would his wolf wake up again? What would happen when he finds out that his pup is now no more? What would happen when he sees that she is claimed by her second chance mate? Would Trevor try to challenge him?

As usual, I was woken up by Goggles licking my face. I winced and then laughed.


"Okay okay, I am up," I chuckled, stroking through her white fur. "What is it, girl? Are you hungry?"


"Meow," she responded and all I could do was snicker. After taking her bowl I poured some of her food in it and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I was barely able to get dressed when the doorbell rang.


I smiled to myself. That must be Mr Perez.


As promised, Mr Perez, Mara, Rina and Tara spent time with me every single day. They were slowly becoming close friends. And soon, I grew comfortable to be around them. It was wonderful that I found great friends at the moment I needed them the most.
