Natalie goes to surprise her mate on his birthday, only to be surprised herself. She finds him cheating on her with her best friend, Tina. What’s more? Trevor realizes that she has left and rejected him. Angered, he accepts the rejection and proceeds to announce his mistress as his chosen luna. However, his wolf doesn’t cooperate. He tries to force him to mark his lover as his luna, which results in landing him in the infirmary. Even after being released from the infirmary, his wolf doesn’t show up and soon the elders see him unfit to lead a werewolf pack. Soon he is denounced from the position. He watched painfully as his beta is appointed as the new alpha. He thinks that Tina would help, however, gets the shock of his life when he realises that Tina and his Beta Alan are mates. They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression.

Luna Natalie

I was elated when we returned that evening. Satisfied, yet exhausted. Goggles came meowing at me, as usual. When I cuddled her and poured food and water, she went to have her food. After taking a bath to clean my body, I laid my exhausted body on the mattress. As soon as I did, I dozed off.


When I woke up the next morning, Goggles was still asleep beside me and my phone was buzzing non-stop. I had set an alarm so that I could wake up by six every morning. I didn't like to sleep in unless I was sick or I had slept late the previous night.


After turning it off, I stretched my body. The memories of the previous day made me smile. Nala was excited to be able to stretch her paws and of course, to meet Shawn's wolf. He was our king, yet neither I nor Nala felt intimidated by his wolf. His presence made it better.


"I wish I could link him already," Nala sighed dreamily.


Chuckling, I closed my eyes. "That can happen if we mate and mark each other," I replied.
