They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression.

"She is here! She is here!" Boone started to go crazy in my head.


"What! Keep it down. We are in front of a lot of humans. We can't afford to reveal our nature to them!" I hushed him.


He did stop yelling in my head, however, he wouldn't stop jumping in joy. I tried my best to compose myself and remained straight beside Christian. Ever since he became an ally with the Zheng group of companies, the workload had doubled. It also improved our paycheck, so we were delighted.


As Christian had anticipated, it did good to his little company. The owners of the Zheng company were easy to work with and friendly. They discussed among their allies before taking decisions. And when they were about to hire a new team to manage the restaurant in his hotel, they invited Christian. As his personal bodyguard, I had to tag along.
