Samuel grinned, joy flourishing within him. But neither Natalia nor Elias noticed the ominous gleam in his green eyes. “I will come to pick you up at 7 pm sharp. Come on. Allow me to drive you to the office."


‘Oh… that’s not possible.’ She couldn’t go with him. Vincent had already asked her to wait for him.


Natalia shook her head and denied it politely, “No. I intend to spend some more time with Elias. See you in the evening.” She smiled, trying hard to stay calm.


Her denial disheartened Samuel. He wanted to spend some more time with her. But she just turned him down. He shrugged to change his mood. There was no need to be depressed. She would be with him in the evening.


He leaned towards her and murmured in her ear, “See you in the evening.”
