I got more than I bargained for when I put everything in the basket. All of it wasn’t pricey to me, and the goods were reasonably cheap considering their uniqueness and splendidness. Kin ended carrying more than four bags in each hand to the car. Indeed, I was splurging frenziedly, and I’d never felt this fulfilling about shopping in my entire life.
Kin smiled as he opened the car door for me, his eyes peering into mine the moment he was seated next to me. Then, he tilted my chin and kissed me so sweetly and passionately.
“What was that for, love?” I whispered breathlessly once our lips were apart.
“For being so selfless,” he uttered. “And, for staking your claim on me.”
I squinted my eyes and muttered, “You knew it all along, didn’t you? That tart was salivating all over you.”
He chuckled softly and said, “I didn’t notice until you mauled me, babe.”
“Erm…was I mauling you?” I asked sardonically.
