Chapter 5 That girl

"Do you want this too?" asked the shop assistant, offering me a bottle of coffee. "On promotion, so you will get a discount."

"Okay, I'll take two." I nodded and quickly grabbed my wallet.

Finished the transaction, I went out, and from far away, I heard a voice shouting, "Arrest the girl!"

A girl with silvery-white hair with all her hair tied up, showing her long neck, was running towards me.

I saw her, and the girl saw me too.

We stared at each other; even though she was being chased by about twenty boys with baseball bats and buckles in hand, I didn't see the fear and worry that the girl had on her pretty face.

However, her entire face was covered with sweat, and I could see that she was exhausted.

"May I have one," she stopped in front of me suddenly, her body bent, her breath ragged, her shoulders heaving. She's breathless.

"Why are they after you?" I asked without answering the question.

"I'll tell you when we meet again. Can I have the bottle at this time?" she asked hastily. "Come on, hurry up," she pleaded.

The only expression she showed was that of extreme exhaustion.

I nodded. From afar, I saw the horde of junior high school boys approaching.

"Here. You'd better run. They'll get you soon enough." I'm sure that among us, the one who worries the most about an innocent girl being chased by those thugs is just me. "Do you need help?" I asked again.

The girl immediately drank the bottle drink I gave her; she drank it straight and finished it. "Oh, thank you very much." She immediately threw the used drink can into the trash can, which was quite a distance from where we were standing, and ...

Goal.

"Yes!" she exclaimed.

I was stunned, but then I realized the gang of delinquents was still running at us, shouting, "Hurry up! We have to get the girl! Capture her alive!"

I was stunned to hear their cries. "Are you okay? Can you still run? Do you need help?"

This time the girl had returned to my question. "What?" she asked, blinking twice.

"Do you need me to help you?"

The girl seemed to think fast, then she said, "Yes, I need your help."

"Okay, what help do you want? Do you want me to call the police?"

She shook her head. After realizing that she was only a few meters away from the crowd, she just looked panicked. "No. It's unnecessary, but I need to know what your name is and where is your school?"

"Only that?" I asked, "is it important?"

She nodded.

"Samuel. Samantha High School."

"Thank you very much," after which she ran away from the supermarket yard.

"Hey! Why did you let her off the hook!" asked one of the men as he came up to me. His chest seemed to be choking; his breath was the same as the girl's breath, panting, but this boy had a strong body odor; my smell was too sensitive.

"I didn't do anything," I say; I'm grateful the girl has come a long way, but I noticed that one of the boys had almost managed to pull the girl's uniform collar.

"Good, the important thing is not to interfere," the boy said, trying to warn me.

I didn't nod and confirmed, and then he looked at the bottle of drink that was still left in my hand. His face was suffering, but then it turned into a vile look.

I took a few steps back from where I was, and this guy looked like he was about to get me into a fight. I'm alert. I clenched my palms until all the veins in my fists turned white.

"You'd better go with your entourage. Otherwise, you will be looked for by someone else, your boss will look for you, and he won't find you." I looked at him sharply.

He looked thoughtful. "Then I'll go first. Next time we meet again, I'll make sure you'll give me that bottle of drink!" he threatened, leaving me.

While running, I heard the boy screaming and cursing, "Hey! Stop you! Don't run! You thought we couldn't catch you! You've been running since morning! Now you won't let go! I guarantee it! Hahaha!" The sound of his laughter makes me sick, and I'm sure I want to pull his tongue out right now!

Enough already! I'm apprehensive. The nerves all over my body were ready to help the girl now. I clenched my fists and narrowed my eyes, looking intently at the evil mobs about to attack the weak girl.

"This can't be allowed," I groaned. My hands clenched into fists. The streets are not that crowded.

"Damn it! Those boys are sneaky! They took advantage of this route! They purposely led the victim to a place that pedestrians wouldn't normally pass! Damn!" I cursed again.

How could that be! The girl is alone! While the pursuers have used tools; Baseball bats, buckles, wooden bats, and other bats that have pissed me off.

At full speed, I ran towards the forest. I followed where the girl ran. I will turn into a wolf and help that girl if something terrible happens to her.

However, I remembered that I shouldn't attack in my wolf form. I can't show my record in the daytime like this.

This is not the usual route for road users or motorists. This is just a path that becomes an alternative road, so people rarely pass this place.

"Hello," I said to the person on the other end of the phone.

"Police. Can I help you?" asked an old man there.

I'm sure this is Mr. Cheng Lo; he's one of the members of our pack. He's the best. He will do everything carefully.

"Mr. Cheng Lo, it's me, Samuel."

"What's wrong, Samuel? Your voice sounds worried. What's wrong?"

I took a breath, and I can still see the last boy who is still chasing the girl."

"There will be torture on Sumbawa street. Maybe the torture will end in rape." My heart wants to jump from its place right now, furious at the thought of the word "rape" I swear if I'll tear the first man to rape that poor girl to pieces in my wolf form.

"That lonely street?"

I nodded. "Yes, that's right. Please come quickly; a group of boys will do something brutal to one girl."

"What!" Mr. Cheng Lo's voice sounded hollow, and he was horrified at the thought of what I reported.

"Fine, I will send troops to the place immediately. Please secure the perpetrators before we come, and I beg you to save the victims."

"Alright."

"Thanks for the report."

"You're welcome," then I hung up.

I ran towards the forest beside the deserted road. I've made a nest around here. This is my territory.

"Stop!" shouted the man who had almost pulled the girl's uniform. "Stop, I said!" His voice was much more shrill than before.

"If I stop, you will catch me!" the girl answered with the same scream as the boy's voice before.

"Of course! We'll catch you!"

"Then I don't want to be caught!" The girl ran even faster.

I continued to follow them with eyes that never left the crowd.

Suddenly ...

"Argh! Let go! Let go of me!" the girl shouted.

I am angry. All my blood clotted nicely to the top of my head.

"Shut up! Listen to us!" the fattest snaps.

"Let go! Otherwise, I'll..."

"Argh!" the fat boy shouted; he withdrew his hand, which had previously caught the girl's collar.

I take off my clothes, and I change my form.

"Auuuuuu ...." my howl.

The horde of boys there were shocked. Their faces were terrified until each one looked so pale as a living corpse.

"There's a wolf!" another shouted.

"We have to get out of here! Wolves are dangerous!"

I growled, waiting for something to happen to the girl.

"Don't be afraid, and we outnumber the wolves!"

"Stupid! How do you know if he's not communicating with its friends!"

"Aw! Geez, Boss," replied the boy who counted my numbers right here. I'm on my own right now.

Not only was the group of boys shocked, but the girl was also shocked.

"You don't mess around; if you do anything wrong, the wolves over there will attack you all!" After the girl said that, she could see the group of boys in front cowering in fear.

I started to square off, one of them approached the girl quickly and...

"Boss, accept us to be your men!" cried the fat boy ahead of the others, and then all the other boys followed.

My eyes widened; I was shocked.

"What is this?" I said in disbelief, seeing the events happening in front of me.

"Boss, please be our leader!" cried another shouted; he was the thinnest boy I have ever met. The sound was so loud that I had to cover my ears.

"Boss, you are the best. Please be our leader, Boss!"

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

My eyes widen. I don't understand what's going on here.
