Chapter 16 The Black Wolf

"What's this for?" I asked; I saw his hand outstretched to me in the jacket that had his signature smell. The smell is gentle and soothing.

Jason looked at me in disbelief. "I can understand you must need this," he said.

With a bad feeling, I just stare at it. Luckily it wasn't hot today, and I liked it when it wasn't hot; My skin is ashen because I don't want to linger in the sun. "Just put it on," he still offered.

With a feeling of doubt and full of question marks, I took the jacket he gave me and put it on.

"Where's your mother?" I asked, glancing at Samuel's car.

Jason handed me the helmet. "She's already in the car. She's here because she has important business," he said. After that, he got on his motorbike and said, "Come on."

I had put on the helmet and got on the motorbike.

This smell is Jason's smell, and I've been inhaling it since we first met.
