"Who is that!" I snapped; I turned around to look at him. My eyes went wide, and I screamed, "Jason!" I ran to him and hugged Jason with tears in my eyes. "Jason, my friend. I'm so glad you came back safely!" I don't know how to express my emotions, but I'm happy to see Jason survive.
Jason rubbed my head. He hugged me back. Is today a truce between Jason and me? I do not know.
"I saw another wolf earlier," I told Jason, and Jason just nodded. It was as if he understood all the anxiety that now filled me.
"It's okay. Now that I'm here, you don't have to worry anymore."
I suddenly remembered the black wolf that pushed Jason into the ravine. "What about that black wolf? Has it left that place yet?" I asked.
Jason was silent for a moment, but then he shook his head. "He's gone. When I went up to the edge of the cliff, I didn't see it anymore."
I asked myself why it recovered so quickly, but knowing Jason was okay was enough for me.
