Chapter 4 Back to the past

"Get up!" shouted the man in an annoyed voice.

"Why is he sleeping so soundly? What time did he sleep last night?" asked a man who was ready with a bucket in his hand. "Should we do this to him?" he asked again, as if still unsure whether he should do something with the bucket in his hand or not.

"If we don't wake him up, we'll be late for the presentation. This is our schedule for making presentations."

Andy opened his eyes slowly, but his head still felt dizzy. His hearing only heard a little of what the several men in front of him had just said.

Who are they? Andy asked in his mind, and everything was still not very clear; he couldn't see what was going on in front of him.

When he held his head and was about to open his eyes, it was too late.

Byur….

The sound of water splashing all over Andy's body.

"What the hell are you guys! Who are you guys!" Andy shouted, ignoring the throbbing pain in his head. He sat down and felt cold.

Damn it! Who did this to him! he thought.

"Who are you!" he cried, his face angry. The two young men in front of him were disrespectful. They abuse an old man like him. "Have you never been to school?"

The two men in front of Andy burst out laughing.

"What did you hit your head with? Why do you talk like an older man? What do you think we're doing on this campus, huh! Chasing Women?" Then they both laughed again.

Andy wiped his face with his hand but to no avail. His whole body was thoroughly drenched, so the inside was also wet. He took off his shirt, then squeezed it.

Something feels weird here. He had not yet realized who the two men in front of him were. When he looked at the shirt he had just squeezed, he saw that it was not the shirt he was wearing.

Yesterday was the worst day, he was fired. He is angry with his boss, he is mad with his co-workers, he is angry with his wife, and everyone seems to be mad at him, considering his trash and useless.

"Why are you dumbfounded and looking confused?" asked one of the men in front of Andy. He saw Andy, still amazed with the shirt he had just opened.

"Who has changed my clothes?" Andy asked, looking up, looking at the two men in front of him, and on the count of three, Andy backed away, hitting his back against the wall.

"You!" Andy shouted. He blinked a few times.

The two men in front of Andy stared at each other, their flat faces harboring many unanswered questions.

After both of them blinked twice because they were surprised by Andy's behavior, they could only speak again.

"If you don't take a shower and put on your best shirt, you will lose your research value," said the man Andy believed was named Fajar.

"Are you Fajar?" Andy asked; he didn't respond to the orders Fajar gave him just now but responded with another question.

Fajar laughed, then flicked Andy's head. "Next time you can make a joke, but not today. It's not April fools, and I think you're too old to play that game."

Tony agreed with what Fajar said. He was still holding the bucket, and his face was filled with guilt. "Does your brain have problems when exposed to water?"

"Just ignore him, Ton. Come on, let's get going. The important thing is we have woken him up. Now let it be a matter of himself. Is he going to wake up and clean himself up, or is he still playing his game?" Fajar leaves Andy, and he looks for his backpack.

Andy's eyes blinked; he was amazed when he saw Fajar still using his backpack.

"Are you wearing that bag?" Andy asked, his face still full of mystery.

Fajar sighed in annoyance. "Andy, please. Now is not the time for guesswork. And if you care about your future, I want to ask you: have you studied for today?" Then Fajar left the room with Andy's wet bed.

"Fajar, why are you just leaving for college now?" asked a woman who passed Fajar in front.

Fajar's voice turned polite as he replied, "Andy was late, but we woke him."

"You are excellent friends," said the woman.

Andy holds his head; he and Fajar are excellent friends. He once loved Luna, but Luna and himself loved each other, so Fajar had to hand Luna over to him. Finally, Fajar married Cindy, but after a few years together, the two decided to divorce. Mr. Vishnu still keeps asking Andy to marry Cindy.

But everything has passed, the past cannot be repeated, everything has happened. However, why did Andy feel like he had experienced this? Is this what is called déjà vu? Or …

Tony looked at Andy with pity. He still felt that Andy had become so stupid because of him.

"Forgive me. I didn't know you would… short circuit… ahm… if you hit the water." Then Tony put the bucket in front of Andy's bed, and he started looking for his bag.

"Tony! Tony! Wait! Don't go!"

"What is it?" Tony turned around, one eyebrow raised.

Andy looked around for something. "What's the time now?" he asked.

Next time, he wouldn't put water on Andy's head again, Tony promised himself.

"Of course, today is May twelfth," Tony replied, "you better prepare now because we only have forty-five minutes left," Tony said.

"Tony! Wait! Wait!"

Tony stopped. He turned to Andy again. "What's wrong? Are you having trouble with your memory?"

"What year is it now?" Andy had to make sure of this.

"Okay, I'm sorry, because I have watered you just now. So, the matter between us is over, okay?"

That answer made Andy's forehead furrow deeply. He remembered that Tony and Fajar had watered it when he was about to present his research. "Tony, I'm serious. Please answer my question."

"Okay. Just this one time. It is the year two thousand and four. Are you satisfied?" Tony asked impatiently. "I'm leaving," then Tony left Andy alone.

Andy immediately got up from his bed. He grimaced when he realized his mattress was wet; he immediately dried the mattress and cleaned his room with a quick movement.

Today is the time to present his research test. He took a shower and immediately rushed to campus.

"Ah, sorry," a female voice apologized to Andy as the two seemed to be in a hurry.

Andy looked at the woman as she said, "No, Miss., I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry," and straightened his body, his mouth immediately opened. He was shocked when he realized who he had just run into.

"Luna," he said, his voice low.

The High School girl he just bumped into gawked at him. "How do you know my name?" asked Luna with round eyes sparkling. At a glance, Andy's eyes couldn't escape from Luna's beautiful and gentle face.

"Eh?" Andy asked; he just realized that at this time, he and Luna had not met. They only met after Andy's campus held a talent search event. At that time, Luna and her band entered the contest and won second place.

Andy introduced himself to Luna, and since then, Andy has always been looking for ways to meet Luna.

"Oh, sorry. I thought you were my college friend Luna," Andy said, scratching his head. "Sorry ... I'm sorry once again," said Andy bowed, and he immediately left Luna alone.

Luna was still watching Andy from behind; she looked at him before turning around and walking away; Luna smiled.
