Abby Brooks, who spent her life being single, had always dreamt of being a different case than everybody else—she wanted to have a child and raise that child on her own.
And one night, her dream was fulfilled when she met a brokenhearted, handsome man at a club. He was the perfect candidate in her eyes. “Boss, Ms. Brooks is here to see you.” Jack says upon entering my office.


“No sir, It’s Mary Brooks, Abby’s step-sister.”


I was handling some paperwork about the upcoming design competition when my mood sourred at the sound of Mary’s name, i looked up to him and squinted my eyes in disgust.


“Without a scheduled appointment? Who the fuck does she think she is? Get her out of my building.”


“But boss, she said it’s important.”


“I don’t care how important it is, if she wants to meet me, she should schedule like everybody else.” I said.
