Chapter 45 Abby in Balcony

There was only one thing on my mind at that moment.

I wanted to confront Abby, ask her if the doctor's words were true, yet I also thought, then what? Even though I already knew what she was going to say, why did I still need to ask her herself? Why should I still believe her even when she hid this from me?

Then again, who am I in her life to know about this secret of hers?

I chuckled bitterly to myself.

When we reached the car, I told everyone to leave me alone and sped off by myself. Curiosity was killing me and I knew that there was no other way but to see her for myself. As I arrived at her place, I was prepared to vent my frustration against her, but as I got off my car, the first thing I saw was her.

With her hands wrapped around her shoulder to soothe herself, she wept silently on the balcony on the second floor. She didn't seem to know what was going on around her, and she just kept crying. I don't know why, but every anger in my mind seemed to have left all of a sudden.
