Abby Brooks, who spent her life being single, had always dreamt of being a different case than everybody else—she wanted to have a child and raise that child on her own.

I knew he was just trying to change the subject, and i appreciated it so i just let go of the matter eventually. My hormones finally calmed down after staring outside from the seat of Raphael's car. I don't know where we were headed since he was going to the opposite way of the plane we rode coming here.


I gave him a suspicious look, remembering that he said the same thing when he took me to their old house.


"Raphael, do i look like I'm in a mood right now?"


He wears a playful grin, "I would love to put you in the mood, my dear. But don't worry, what you're thinking, won't happen. I just want to show you my favorite place on the island."
