NINE MONTHS LATER
The nurses wiped the sweat on her face as she pushed her baby out, she felt someone was trying to rip her lower body apart, but she knew that she'd have to do it or she'll lose her baby. The doctors kept telling her to push, and in between, they asked her to take deep breaths.
At that time, she knew she'd kill one of them if they asked her one more to take deep breaths; at this crucial time, she almost forgot how to breathe.
"Come one; I need one last push." The doctor urged her to push one more time.
"AHHHH!" She screamed and felt the sweat dripping down her ear, and nurses wiped her face again with a wet cloth.
Soon a cute little cry echoed throughout the room, and the nurses cheered for Naomi. They handed her baby to her after wiping the blood from her body.
"My little Angel. Mommy loves you so much," she whispered in her baby's ear and kissed her little forehead.
Her baby looked agitated; her eyes looked everywhere as if she was looking for someone.
"Are you looking for your dada?" Naomi asked her daughter. Her daughter looked at her and sighed. "I'll take that as a yes, but your dada is not in the picture right now. For now, it's just you and me," she cooed in her daughter's ear.
Her baby let out a cry, "oh no, my little one, we are going to be just fine. Mommy is going to protect you." She talked to her baby and smiled when she saw her baby listening to her intently.
Nurses taught Naomi how to feed her baby and asked her the name of her baby for the birth certificate.
"Angel. That's what she is to me." She answered the elder nurse, who cleaned her baby for the first time.
The nurse nodded and left Naomi to spend some quality time with her little one.
Naomi looked at the face of her now sleeping daughter, whose mouth was still latched on to her left n******. She smiled at her, and soon she drifted off to sleep.

Callum felt the stirring of a new consciousness in his back. Someone was born in his pack, but who?
Closing his eyes, he let his mind wander from pack member to pack member, but he couldn't seem to pinpoint where this new life was born. Felt concern rise in his chest. He pushed his senses out, further realizing that the thing he was feeling was coming from the rogues of his pack.
"F***!" he breathed, opening his stormy grey eyes.
"Beta Torben! He called through his mind link, "In my office now!"
"He didn't need to wait for him to reply. He knew he would obey his command no matter what.
"You called Alpha," his beta Torben said, waiting rather impatiently for the Gamma to show up. He was an older wolf, about 21 years his Alpha's senior and had, in fact, been his father's beta. But when Callum took the title, he had asked him to stay on in the prestigious position.
"I remember that I ordered everyone to stay away from the rogues; no one from my pack is allowed to have any sexual contact with them," Callum said as he paced back and forth behind his desk.
"Everyone is aware of that, Alpha; I assure you that no one has been involved with any rogues living in our packs." Beta Torben assured him.
"Then why am I feeling a new consciousness in the pack," Callum breathed, barely able to control himself as fear and anger warred inside of him.
"Maybe it was someone's drunken mistake," Beta Torben suggested.
"I don't care; rogues are wild in nature; they are not capable of raising a kid on their own. Find about this rogue and this newborn kid," Callum ordered his beta.
"But-"
"But what?"
"Most of our trackers are busy with our previous investigations." He reminded Callum.
"Which one?"
"They are still looking for your mate," he said.
Callum sighed and took a deep breath. He knew in his heart that he'd find his minx soon, but for now, it was more important to find out about that innocent kid.
"Stop that investigation for the moment; the kid is more important," Callum said those words with a heavy heart.
"As you say, Alpha, I'll report to you soon, as soon as I find something, but what are we going to do when we find the rogue?" He asked.
"Isn't it obvious? The rogue will be punished along with the pack member who was involved in this," he answered his beta.
His beta nodded and left Callum alone in his office.
He took out the portrait that he had made, he knew that fate works in mysterious ways, and he would meet her again.
The next morning Naomi woke up when she heard her baby's cry; she instantly jumped into action and picked her up in her arms. She was feeding her Angel when the nurse barged in and asked her to renew the hospital fees or leave.
Being a rogue, she didn't have enough money left to cover the hospital's expenses, so she had no option but to leave the hospital.
Being the Alpha blood, her wounds healed faster, and she was able to leave with her daughter; she remembered that the elder nurse informed her about the charity that helps single mothers.
"Maybe the charity could help her until she finds a stable job for a few days." Naomi thought and decided to try her luck there.
But before she could reach there, she found a lady who looked like she needed help.
The Alpha blood in her didn't let her walk away from the woman. Naomi walked toward her and offered her help.
"Sure, dear, can you help me carry half of this stuff to this address?" The lady asked kindly; her body scent told Naomi that she was a rogue.
"Sure, why are you carrying your son? You should leave him at home." Naomi advised her.
"I would have, but I have no place to go; the charity also has no more rooms available for the mothers. I have nowhere to go." She informed Naomi.
"You have been staying there?" Naomi asked.
"Yes, I do. I have money to feed my baby and myself. But I don't have enough to rent an apartment." She informed her.
Naomi was disappointed after hearing this. She helped the lady deliver all her stuff, and in exchange, she shared half of her meal with Naomi.
"Can you tell me more about this place?"
"So, I was right. You are new here." The lady said.
"Yeah, apparently, this is the only pack where rogues can receive medical attention." Naomi sighed and looked at her Angel.
"You are right, but-"
"But?" Naomi interrupted.
"The special part about this place is that rogues can live here."
"I know." Naomi nodded.
"But there's a downside to this."
"And that is?"
"The rogues can make a living in this city, but they don't have the same position as the normal werewolf, and it's unacceptable if a rogue mated with a normal werewolf." She explained.
"Then what's the point of giving the rogues a hope, just to crush it later on," Naomi frowned, not liking the way the rogues were treated.
"But at least they do get a chance, unlike other packs."
"What happens when someone breaks this law?" She asked hesitantly and clutched her Angel tightly in her arms. But Malina noticed the action and looked at Naomi with concerned eyes.
"Then they are as good as dead, and the Alpha takes away the baby. I know you are a nice person and care about your daughter. I don't know much about you, but I still would advise you to keep your baby a secret if you were involved with any of the pack members in the past. I am saying this as a mother."
"Thank you so much for your help and food." Naomi nodded but was still bothered by their law; what if someone finds out about her daughter. She thanked the lady and left her after exchanging their numbers.
She was glad that the people of this pack were kind enough to let her stay, but she didn't know where else to go.
In desperation, she returned to her dilapidated truck and decided to stay the night at the truck. Her baby was getting tired, and she knew that she needed to do something soon, or she won't be able to survive.
