“You know what? If you’re going to ridicule me, then forget about this…about me. I don’t need your pity,” as I dropped my hand from his neck and tried to step back.
He growled and didn’t let me get away from him. “I just wanted to make sure that you are very sure of what you’re doing, baby girl; I didn’t pity you; in fact you are admirable.”

Things were happening fast and I didn’t like it. We shifted to Callum’s pack the next day and Angel was ecstatic, but I was wary of his behavior. He was being too polite, which is very unusual.


“Maybe he is trying to improve himself.” My wolf said and I ignored her just like always.


“Hey, don’t ignore me like that.”


“Then what the hell do you want me to do?” I can’t trust him, after everything he has done it is hard to trust him.


“I know what you’re thinking but he is also giving you space isn’t he?” My wolf reminded me.


“I know but that doesn’t prove anything,” I replied exasperatedly.


“Fine, then don’t trust him yet. We are doing this only for Angel Let’s just keep an eye on him for a while, until he proves that he can be a good father.” My wolf said and I nodded in agreement.


Callum showed us around and I saw that apart from mine and Angel’s room, there were three extra rooms in here. I looked at him in question and he sighed.
