NAOMI’S POV
It’s been three days since I moved and my body is already feeling weak. Callum let me go to work and is behaving himself around me, but I don’t think I’ll be able to let my guard down around him.
“You are lost again.” Malina’s voice brought me out of my thoughts.
“I know, I am sorry,” I mumbled, not wanting to talk about anything.
“It’s fine, but you look pale Naomi. Are you okay?” She asked, clearly concerned about my wellbeing.
“I am fine,” I answered her.
“But you don’t look fine. Something is bothering you.” Sheep and pointed and side.
“Nothing is bothering me but I am tired of staying there. It feels like I am constantly walking on a glass, which will break any moment if I take any wrong step. My guard is always up and it’s tiring, physically and emotionally.” I finally confessed.
“I am sorry,”
“Why are you saying sorry?”
“Because I can’t do anything to help you.”
“You can’t help me in this matter, no one can. So, it's not your fault.” I said.
