Chapter 33 Alpha\'s Friend

First name without title? I just stare at the high ranked male in front of me in disbelief before glancing at Nadia. "A-Alpha..", she speaks up, "Claire was just... She didn't mean it... Please forgive her."

The dirty-blonde just smiles, shaking his head, "But I'm actually serious about this. I see no problem in being friends with such a strong willed female. I'm not trying to embarrass you or anything. I really mean it. Say my name and we can be friends."

I lightly gulp, fidgeting with my shirt under the table. Just then he leans a bit closer to me and my breath hitches in my throat by his strong scent. It was the scent of his wolf, fourth generation of pure alpha blood.

As if knowing what exactly was bothering me, the Alpha does something I didn't expect him to. He masks his scent entirely, becoming almost invisible to someone without eyes. Us wolves depend a lot on our sense of smell. That's how we track our pray or other wolves.
